I asked my OH to post a letter yesterday at the post office box as our nearest has a small slit. When I looked later the letter was still there. I said 'you didn't post that letter then' he said yes I did. Puzzled I looked around and lnotice that my latest big brown envelope from RM was missing. He only posted that instead

I'm glad someone else has a hubby like mine, because that's exactly the sort of thing he would do!0 -

..thats the reason i try to do it 99.9% by myself
...although i posted my train stamp collection back by mistake one day to them during the time when you had to post all your old mailings back in the grey plastic bag0 -
Really annoyed at my postman at the moment, he didn't deliver anything for 3 days then came with an almighty pile, including several from the survey and one to be signed for. He told me their targets are so tight that he deliberately misses some houses out (specially those like mine that are off the beaten track) for a few days then makes them up when his boss is off his back. I'd love to know how that works - is my post then sitting in his van for a few days? If it could be left at the local post office I'd gladly collect for myself. Today I saw him sitting in his van by the postbox (which he was emptying around 2 hrs late) chatting on his mobile so ran out of sympathy a bit!
Though I was full of sympathy when he told me all of this, I've noticed that when he is on a rest day (he works part time) the other postie is here by about 11, instead of around 2 like the regular one and never misses. So I'm less sympathetic now.
Unfortunately Kantar haven't queried my late entries which is a shame. I'd be interested to know if other people are having the same experience.

our local office has recently made changes to the route's as they say they are delivering less mail these days ...so the posties have had their routes changed to include more addresses ..and didnt take on any temps this year to help with the christmas rush
we usually have two differnt posties during the week ..they now deliver all the parcels first by van ...then go out on foot with the mail ...if they start at the top of the rd they are here by 11 am .. if they do the route the other way starting at the bottom and we dont get mail till between 1 - 2pm
....but im sure they are missing out the last collection after 3-45 as i posted a letter friday 1st class to a friend and they didnt get it till tuesday0 -
I got an email today saying that they are going to rotate panellists starting next year- six months off and six months on- anyone else had one?
Also you need to do the training again each time you start a new 6 month stint.
