I don't know who the BH is but I've had 2 letters from RIAS in the last couple of weeks and that is addressed the same way as my mail for RI is! (Slightly different to what my normal mail is)

I think its a bit off that companies put our addresses on their data base.

I did 2 mystery shops for Sun Life a few years ago and I still get regular mail off them and I was told that our addresses were erased as soon as the wave was completed but they obviously took no notice. They are just binned without being opened - what a waste of money and more rubbish for recycling (which probably goes to landfill anyway!)
  • The BH ones are test items but do not have an R number. If you look carefully each one will be different - different branch address. Just record them as normal. You will see them when you click on the illustrations for items without R numbers.

My survey mail is also addressed slightly, but noticeably, different to my standard address (Despite the fact that I told them several times when I started that it was wrong and is correct in things like the Royal Mail postcode database, so heaven knows where they got it from) I can honestly say that I have never received any "non-survey" junk mail throughout my time with them and I started doing the survey before it went on the internet:o To be honest, I am pleasantly surprised by that, I had thought some might slip through the net, but any that I have suspected have turned out to be genuine survey mail. There has been the odd overlap of an issue or two for some periodicals and mistakes sometimes happen - I once got several letters a day for a whole week from the DVLA:eek: - but I have yet to find myself on any real junk mail lists through RI.
Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.
  • thanks but they are not all test items, i have been doing the RI survey for 3 years & know about not having a R number, i do not see them all when i click onto the illustrations, they are not there, only about 1 in 3 of mailings from this company are there & when entered once it disappears from the list.

the company does have a store in my area so not sure if they have put me on their mailing list hoping for extra custom (they'll have a bl..dy long wait!). i've never had this happen before. i'll give them the benifit of the doubt for now, maybe its just a glitch, just a bit strange that they are addressed the same as my RI ones, ie just the 1st & last line of my address, the're are 2 middle lines which would normally be used for other mail. i'll see how it goes, thanks for your replies xx

Just thought I'd share this on here about this site called Bookmooch

DH does the postal survey so we always have loads of stamps and it's a book exchange website, so you send a book to someone and can receive one in return from someone else of your choice. I'm probably not explaining it very well, but you can get free books especially with all the stamps floating around from the postal survey.

    Actually richmondhamptoncourt,
(it's the phantom royal mail poster sneaking into this thread, heehee)
you're not alone with not getting any mail this week. I had at least one thing each day last week, but not much for this week. The one thing I did receive, I can't input into the system. I was send someone else's R-label sticker on the insert. Easily enough done I suppose, but I'll be sending it back unrecorded.

Also, I have SMARTS to return which surprises me. I have none, so was confused where the ones listed have come from.
    Anyone else had this recently?

I too have just had to return a smart I don't have. Very strange.
I was asked for 3 SMARTS back, but I did have them. The site was down for "system maintenance" yesterday. I wonder if it is connected.

This also happened to me too, the Smart listed to return was not in my stock, alas, three days later I got a Smart sent from Kantar in an envelope saying to add this too my stock.
    Like good food and drink?
    Try Hotel Chocolat and Baileys.

£10 win today on daily prize. Not had one for a long time so good start to the week.

Had a surprise when entering received mail. Received one from Jersey and immediately after entering details it was showing a query to be resolved for that item. At least I could confirm what I had entered without having to think about it!
