RMS did actually inform me last time when they had more than the required number of panellists in my postcode, they just didn't this time and I don't know why.

A few months after informing me of this they contacted me by email and asked if I'd like to participate again. I replied back and said I would. So didn't think I really missed out on anything to be honest.

I've had one or two discrepancies in the past as well and have phoned them to inform them about this, they told me to ignore them, so I did.

Personally I'm not to bothered what they say or do though the free stamps do come in handy. I'm just happy to do whatever as I don't want to get bogged down by this. I did start to take it seriously at one point then thought "what the heck I'm I doing? Who cares whether I'm doing this right or not and whether I'm posting on time or not". They probably wouldn't know anyway as long as I enter fairly accurate information. And anyway who cares if they do or don't know as long as I get the stamps!?!

I'm not going to get stressed out over this (one reason for not contacting them for such a long time) though it would be nice to be informed why they decided to stop sending me posting schedules (one reason for contacting them in the end).

I just wanted to know why.

Not sure if I read this correctly but if you are not taking it seriously then maybe you should not be doing it. It takes seconds a day to log and minutes a week to prep. If folk can't be bothered then why bother?? I don't get it. There is an element of trust in these things to go right and if folk can't be trusted then they should be booted off if that is the reason. If this is bogging you down so much surely you can afford a packet of stamps a month and avoid all the hassle??

    but in keeping it!!!
  • me too, I've emailed about them and they're looking into it

thanks :) I've just e-mailed them too as I'm due to take part again in another next week :undecided

Perhaps that's the reason you were removed from the list? I'd never undertake any survey/job, no matter how small it might be, with such an attitude as yours.

That's exactly what the one I received yesterday reminded me of! :D
  • I read this thread about a week back and got in touch with RM to see if they needed people in my area. They replied telling me that yes they needed people in my area and that I will recieve a welcome pack with stamps and instructions soon. I'm guessing I just need to wait for this to arrive and all will become clear?? Any other newbies out there with advice??

    Regards :T

hi looby, how did you get in touch? i keep trying the link in th eop but they are never recruiting. if you used a different method id like to try that way too.
    thanks
