Thank you for visiting the Royal Mail Monitor website.

Unfortunately, due to a high volume of responses, we are not recruiting to the monitor at this time.

After doing the survey for 3 years, I was booted off last month for reporting that Royal Mail had opened one of my letters

I know that feeling...8 weeks on I'm still receiving mail and SMARTS (no posting packs though :( ) and even got an email to say that I was no longer required due to too many people in my area. I did point out that I had already been removed but didn't get a response!

    Hey guys.

Does anybody know if they will be looking for more people anytime soon?
Been trying it once every day for the last few days and just get the message:

"Thank you for visiting the Royal Mail Monitor website.

Unfortunately, due to a high volume of responses, we are not recruiting to the monitor at this time. "

    Cheers :):)

THere are suggestions on the site for what to do if you can't on a particular occasion (away from home unexpectedly etc) and I think that they include delaying the posting by a week or a day

I'm quite new to this and have just discovered this thread. I'm still in my 1st month, although it's been a bit haphazard, so not sure if I'll pass, because I didn't receive my log in details til week 2, so already had a backlog.

I emailed them to ask and to tell them I was about to go on a fortnight's holiday and what to do and they said just start posting them when you get back, so have just finished posting about 5 weeks' worth over 2 weeks!

Anyway, I work full time and didn't realise they would have to be posted during working hours and my work address is in a different postcode, so can't use that. Fortunately DH is fairly available most days to do it, whilst at work or not, but not sure he's overly happy about it! I do think they should point out that you need to be able to post things during the normal working day, as I probably wouldn't have applied, had I known, because I can't do it! Well, short of a 25 mile round trip at lunchtime!

Going to read the other thread now, to try and suss what all this stuff about "SMARTS" are etc., and what you do about returning stuff, as not got to that stage yet and see whether it's worth working on DH to keep going!

    thanks Mum2one.

I think I must have finished my first month now, although it did all get a bit confusing, starting with a backlog of about 4 weeks!

From what I've read so far about this, I didn't actually have to send anything back to them from this lot did I? I just received an envelope every week with 2 letters in to post - nothing about sending anything back yet.

So I'm hoping that's all I had to do so far?

you could turn on your virtual keyboard 'til it's fixed:

    in VISTA it's:

    control panel>ease of access>ease of access centre>start on-screen keyboard

    :D
