I haven't got anything for this coming week either & nothing showing online. I have put in for holiday the following week. I hope it is time off not the dreaded sack :(

Well I have just looked online again and I have this week off and postings for next week lol. I panicked and checked my holiday and I did put it in right for next week. I will have to ring tomorrow.

Am I right in thinking that my postcode area is related to the first two letters only? Eg BH32 8DK = posting area anywhere in BH? If so, I will still be in my postcode area for the first two postings and will have to do the other one the following week.

I've just made it in, thanks everyone, and received my first test posting. I have to post after 1pm but before last collection, which I can do this week (luckily) but generally can't do as I'm at work all day and don't live in my work postcode. Is this timing common? I assumed I would be able to post items in the morning on my way to work or when we are home in the evening. If I get lots of these I'm worried I will not be able to stay on the survey :( I've read recent posts about pre 9am type postings but could not see anything about lunchtimes.

I get numbers that SHOW THROUGH the cellophane wrapper but are not ON the wrapper..... does that still count when it says in the question 'Do these numbers appear on the wrapper or envelope?'

Whilst not technically on the outer, it can be seen through. What do you think?

    Hi Katsu,
The requested timings on my posts have always fallen into one of 4 categories: "Before 10am"; "10-1pm"; "After 1pm" and "Any time" (before last collection)

I'm sure some people will tell you it doesn't matter when you post as long as you record the time you do post, but personally I always try to hit the designated period as I believe if it didn't matter they wouldn't bother specifying a time at all. If it concerns you, I'd advise calling the help line and asking, they are always very helpful, so I've been told.

Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

If you read back a few pages there are some posts about the time of postings and that it's not as important as it is to post it on the correct day. Some of us have been on this for about 3 years and we don't stick to the times religiously and we are still on it but others stick to the times and go out of their way to post when they are told to. You will be fine. Send an email to verify this so that it puts yuour mind at rest but you will be fine.

Also if you miss a posting day just post it on the same day a week later.

I would say no as it's technically not on the wrapper. I know what you mean tho but I always say no. Those numbers are always on the letter / paper inside but as it's asks for the envelope / wrapper then mark it no.

Just got accepted to the panel, and got my mailing pack yesterday, ready for sending my first ones next week - does anyone know of a website which shows the geographic area a postcode covers?

I live in the postcode area next to the one I work in but I'm not sure of which postboxes and offices are in which area (offices I know I can google the address but that doesnt help too much with the boxes), I'm fairly certain there's a box a few mins walk from work in the right area but not sure and want to check.

Yes, you are correct. It's just the letter(s) in the first part of the postcode, the rest doesn't matter.
