Has anyone received letters to post requiring them to be done at the Post Office BEFORE 10am?

I have never received them for that early before (I checked through ALL the sheets from the beginning) and now I have two letters for pre 10am.

Has anyone had them for that before? Is it new?

And what if there is no way a pre 10 am slot is workable for a panellist?
I can do it today as I am going into town early anyway for other reasons.
But it is not always going to possible.

I have had 3 or 4 pre 10am letters to post. I have a post box at the end of my street so it is easy for me. You could maybe post them the night before after the last collection.

Post Box ones I can cope with.
It's the Pre 10am Post Office ones that will be the difficulty.

Don't worry about it and just use your post box instead.

We have had a debate in here before about the times and different boxes. Some people stick by the postings like a religion. Others don't but stick to the day and Kantar are more than happy with that.

If you are fearful then by all means stick it to but I know I don't if I can't and have been on this for years now.

I agree kernalpop. I was told by the helpful Joanne that the day of posting is the really important bit.
Don't know about any of you but I am certain that at my regular PO there would never be a collection before about 11.00 am anyway.
The main thing is to post on the correct day of the week and then record what you did accurately even if it is totally different to what you were supposed to do.

Just want to back up what the previous two posters have said. In an ideal world we would all stick to their posting plans but sometimes that can't be done so don't beat yourself up about it! :)

I have had many of these (before 10am) over the alst three years, at least one a week.
  • I can confirm the above. I have the same problem with the before 10am postings at post offices. I queried it with Kantar and they said to post whenever possble at a post office but if there isn't one handy it is OK to post in a normal postbox. It is the day and time that is important to them and they realise that "there is a lack of local post offices these days" (their words!!!).
