So I will be making a phone call too!
Same here.
I rang the number on the letter today and (eventually) spoke to an advisor who told me they "don't deal with this" and gave me a different number to ring

Have sent a letter and will phone on Monday.0 -
I got same letter and phoned up today. Call handler agreed I had met criteria, however advised 1200 letters have been sent out in error. My case has been passed to switching team to verify and confirm back to me.0

I phoned up today and it looks like I may be in for the same response. I got my £25 referral and the travel insurance but also part of the deal was the £100. When looking at other banks at the time similar things were being offered - I was unhappy with the charges being applied by HSBC I thought this was the best offer. Also having just lost my job £100 would have come in handy.
The lady today said that I didn't apply online so may not get it and I told her the guy on the phone said it was OK to do it that way and I would still qualify. Upon going through all the criteria at the time he told me I met everything they required to receive it. 4 months later and NOTHING.... about a month after everything was opened my DD still hadn't transferred even though I had filled out the form twice so in the end had to do it myself because my new salary was being paid into the new account so funds in the old one were diminishing. However at the time of opening I wasn't told the £100 was conditional on using their switching service. Only that I had to transfer them all.
I guess I'm going to have to wait for my letter and then get a response back if it's been declined.
Anyone had any joy recently?0 -
I just rang them and got through in under a minute. I told the very nice lady that I have got a letter saying I won't be getting the money although I stuck to the rules. She told me she'd spent most of the day taking calls from people like me who had done what was asked of them yet still got a letter. She said I will be getting the money and just as long as you kept your side of the deal then they will too - and it would help if you keep all the paperwork to show this.Total Wins 2011: Zilch

Following my telephone query on Saturday I have checked my account online today and found the £100 is now in. I signed up in the first week of May for the account. Might be worth checking your account if you have complained after the letter! :rotfl:0

Me too!!
A&L had advised late September when speaking to them yesterday.
Also supposed to be getting a letter confirming all is ok.0 -
I also got a letter last week saying I had not met the criteria and would not be getting the £100. Checked online today and the £100 was credited yesterday, without me even lifting a finger. So looks like the letters have just been sent in error and no action is needed to rectify.
(I opened my account in may, so have made 2 monthly £500 credits before getting the £100 if anyone is interested).0 -

The terms and conditions clearly state you need to use the switching service.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -

I complained after getting the letter on Saturday.
I have just checked my account and the £100 has been paid :j0 -
Sorry, meant to update sooner.
When I phoned on Saturday the guy knew exactly why I was phoning as soon as I mentioned new account for £100 incentive.
He said as far as they know 4000 of these letters have been sent in error and that I would get a letter explaining the status with my payment.
Have just checked account after reading others posts and I have had the £100 credited on Monday too.
So if you got the letter and haven't phoned to complain, looks like it would be worth it.
I still have £25 referral fee to get, as does the person who referred me. Will see what happens with that.0
