He's muffing you around - he must have a really busy business if he can spend all this time on it. Probably unhappy that his CD only sold for 99p and is trying to put you off? ;)

Re-state the situation to him, tell him that you had no reason to click on his shop logo and that you are operating under T&Cs that he put on the listing, which did not include the 60p insurance - further, that the 60p was listed as optional and that if he persists he will leave you with no option but to report him to Ebay as a non-performing seller.

I wouldn't pay it, on principal.

    PAYPAL REQUIRES A TRACKING NUMBER

SELLER CAN GET A TRACKING NUMBER BY USING RECORDED DELIVERY

RECORDED DELIVERY COSTS MORE THAN 60P

you're getting a bargain, stop moaning
    money saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

The buyer though doesn't require a tracking number and shouldn't have to pay if it wasn't in the auction terms. I'm not even sure there is a case for the seller needing a tracking number either? Since the item is less than £32 a COP covers for loss in the post so why worry about tracking a 99p CD.

If the seller is that worried maybe ebay isn't the place for them.

yeah, spot on with the statement soo

i'm just grumpy, it seems a little pedantic arguing over sixty pence,
i'm sure if the tables were turned it'd be the OP complaining that someone's being arsey over a small postage amount

Go and have a pint!

Lol - I agree it's a little pedantic! On the other hand, if the seller didn't quote it on the listing..............it winds me up that the seller thinks his behaviour is acceptable, regardless of the amount. It's the kind of behaviour that reflects on all of us sellers.

I agree with Lulubelle, every time I see a buyer complain about a seller on here my first thoughts are always, that could be one less buyer on ebay and therefore affect my sales.

Every time someone has a bad experience on ebay they may be tempted to walk away and not bother anymore, and that leaves less buyers for those of us who hopefully treat our buyers reasonably.

Well he has replied saying pretty much like it or lump it. I will pay the extra under protest and either leave neg feedback or more likely leave none at all as he seems to always give a retaliatory neg to anyone who negs him.

I would also strongly advise people to leave this ebayer well alone.
