Ooo exciting - whats the course on??
Hopefully by then I will have done most of the work for my masters anyway since its research and my book is sort of getting written (um sometimes anyway ) 0 ) 0

            Way hey Miss Snaggles..;)
He sounds like a lovely guy and I am sure he would at least have the decency if things didn't work out to do it face to face. Anyway doesn't sound like there is much chance of that!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

            We didn't play Scrabble
Ohh, he is so lovely, I really like him A LOT. I keep staring at my phone, half hoping it will bleep, half hoping it wont in case he dumps me.
I should go and do something productive, but there's only the ironing to do...
Awwww :smileyhea Really pleased for you! Erm, you didn't play Scrabble? Does this mean you've stopped, er, behaving yourself? Ooo exciting - whats the course on?? Ooo exciting - whats the course on??

Philosophy too - I've got most of a philosophy degree but didn't finish my final year for various reasons. Can't afford to go back to Uni full-time now (not sure I really want to either) but I still love it so want to do some more.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Ooo what is the course covering Red??
I did mostly ethics and rights and responsibilities (after learning about the basics of the main forms/people) but my dissertation was on philosophy and metaphor (just to mix it up) which is what my masters is going to be about - sort of linguistics
I also love medical ethics and philosophy and politics and perfect state stuff - Kant is my favourite - so logical and lovely
The only bit I hated was existenalism (sp?)... dont get the point of it really...think I'm too logically minded to 'get' it! 0 0

Squizz I had planned to go back to my job full time at school when I was on maternity leave and had DD booked into a nursery. Then once I had her I decided that I would go part time and they were ok with that and I extended my maternity leave to take the extra 6 months unpaid. When I went to settle in days at nursery I just couldn't leave her, all these babies crying some left that way because they were dealing with others and it broke my heart. I decided that I would leave my job and handed in my notice. When DD was about 17 months old I popped into shop (where I now work) and was having a chat to Boss and she asked if I wanted a Part time job, it felt like the right time as DD needed interaction from other children and people. She was just under 2 when I started back at work and I think it did her the world of good and gave me some sanity too..best of both worlds I think. I was glad to have had those 2 years at home although financially it was the straw that broke us but I wouldn't have changed that as time with her was more important than moneyI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

It's the Philosophy of Mind one - http://www3.open.ac.uk/courses/bin/p12.dll?C02AA308 - have covered some of this before but should be a good refresher to get my little brain working again and go into a bit more depth in some areas. Your dissertation sounds really interesting... I love aesthetics (our dept had a film philosophy specialist, fascinating, and I did quite a lot of stuff about photography), and my last big project was on Husserl and Heidegger.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
