I bet you have loads of responsibilities over your working and voluntary life and loads of achievements you can list.
And mine BB - I think you could have a nice little sideline there, might have to bring my CV to Weybiza & get you to tart it up a bit
:D, job experience is fine - person spec is bit

this one has gone from £700 to £650 since this morning.... maybe that's fate..... it has 3 bedrooms, so a lodger is an option?! altho probably against the terms of the lease. Doesn't say no pets... which is good!
it's 150yards from current house.

this one says no pets... only 2 bedrooms so still very much adequate!Maz how much would you pay if you got social housing? Is it going to be much less than those private ones? I actually prefer the second one and would be fine for you and Erin for time being. If you do rent privately you can get housing benefit too remember so would effectively make your rent the same I would guess?
but the second one says specifically no pets....
the first is only marginally dearer, and has extra room (to keep the excess furniture until i got a council place???) and it doesn't say it doesn't take pets... and first £150 secures.... but still need to find £1150 more (rest of deposit £500+£650) plus live for the month....... i probably have the £650 right now that's if i didn't pay current place rent and moved out sharpish! which i could do realistically in an evening as it's not far!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Maz just went and did entitled to based on your salary and that house and it says you would get:
Tax credits and child tax credits £130 a week
Housing benefits £50 a week
So I'd check it out if I were you (bearing in mind I assumed a few things

It seems Maz they look at 'applicable amounts' and then work it out from there
'If your income is less than your applicable amount, you will get full benefit. If your income is more than your applicable amount, we have to take some of the difference off your benefit. To work out Housing Benefit, for every £1 of income you have over your applicable amount, we take 65 pence off your benefit. We also take any non-dependant deductions off your benefit. The Government says that if your Housing Benefit is less than 50 pence a week, we cannot pay you anything.'
Applicable amounts

Single claimants Aged Under 25 £50.95
Aged 25 and over £64.30

living so close wouldn't be a great issue to me, but might confuse Erin a bit i guess... or not confuse her but yes, well maybe confuse would be the word, i dunno..
About tax credits, well yeah this is true....
Luci - not discussed with her yet.... last time he used a big old emotional blackmail thing with her, she was crying, he was crying and i was all the !!!!!es under the sun for splitting everyone up... so i specifically told him it was down to me to tell her when i want to, and he can just carry on regardless which is what he was doing anyway!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
