Please can someone help me with this application letter...........I am not in a good place in my head today, it has to be in by 1st July.

I feel like I cannot say anything positive about myself :o this is the bit I am stuck on. The person spec under skills, this is what they expect:

    Skills
(Excellent communication skills, Exceptional people skills, Supportive and Encouraging)
I have written, re-written and now erased it, how the hell do you put these things in a paragraph.........

sorry I am being pathetic, I shall just go and get on with it:rolleyes:
I am crap at that sort of stuff too Lou, it feels like you end writing 'I am the best person in the world, now give me the job. You should think yourselves lucky I am even applying. Fnar fnar.'

As squizz says maybe bullet points first then pad it out? So people skills, one bullet point could be diplomatic, then expand that... and so on...?
  • We've got some of that at work.. hmm.. tempting...

I have taken £21 today. Getting very worried now as I thought that I'd be able to stash some money to pay the bills whilst I am away.

Maz :eek::eek: thats a crazy rent amount - I pay £800 in zone 1 in central London :eek:, geez had no idea Scotland was soo expensive!!!

Aberdeen is notoriously expensive... and this is rural aberdeenshire, so cheaper than you'd pay for same in the city itself... and 25miles out of town.

this one has gone from £700 to £650 since this morning.... maybe that's fate..... it has 3 bedrooms, so a lodger is an option?! altho probably against the terms of the lease. Doesn't say no pets... which is good!

    it's 150yards from current house.

this one says no pets... only 2 bedrooms so still very much adequate!

If one more person pops in just to complain about the heat I shall scream. I have put up with 23 years of moans about heat/cold/traffic/parking/council etc etc.
Please, please ,please can I answer back just for once?
