Hi
A slightly late posting, tried this morning but hit the wrong button and lost it .
It's been so humid here today with some rain as well but little sunshine. Have just been to an art exhibition at DD2's 6th form - some very talented stuff there. DD1 returns from Kos tomorrow so I'd better clear the ironing from her room tonight.
MSD - hope your test drives produce a good result.
Haribo - love the garden and the views!
Bitsy - don't worry about it, you've obviously done really well over the last few months and a holiday is bound to tip the balance a bit.
Freegan - welcome:hello:
Halight - good luck with the scan
Donny-gal - hope DS's interview goes well
OS - not much, in fact not anything at the moment, will go off and find something to do now....

Must tell you all........ imagine a trumpet fanfare accompanied by a drum roll......... I harvested 4 courgettes tonight :j:T:j:D:D You can't believe how pleased I am, it's a tad embarrassing reallyThey were only baby ones but passed my size test ( Haribo, don't even think about it

thanks for asking Churchie! he thinks he did well, was pleased with the interview and we'll know in the next couple of days. The interview will be good experience if nothing else.
Halight - good luck with your scan later this week!Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Evening all
We all know size isn't everything Churchie, well done!!
My car failed it's MOT today, but only on a tyre, so not too bad. It's a P reg, so it's not doing bad. I sent a text to DS to tell him about it & he popped in on his way home from work, he arrived just as I was dishing up, so he stayed for tea, made a note of the number on the tyre & will be back tomorrow to fit it & have sausage & mash for tea, I'll get the car retested by Friday so should be ok by then.
I've posted a pic of the Apron I made for DD's birthday on my blog, I'm really pleased with it, I hope she likes it.
Have a good evening all.
Hugs Hester

Took the girls to the beach after school. It was very hot but very lovely. The vicar saw me in my bikini. I hope he doesn't have a crisis of faith.
BBQed for tea and then had a walk en familie Including dog and a doll in a pushchair that speaks spanish and sings ABCD over and over again.
OH has had to go into work again to finish off some stuff so he can take a half day tommorrow and try to get his boat started..... I will let you know how it goes. The creels he set on Saturday were full yesterday... alas, they were full of starfish and hermit crabs but it's a start. :rotfl:
Just sitting outside waiting for the sun to set then off for a cool bath.
Sleep well everyone.0 -

This is what has astonished me! DS who went to Oz for a working holiday did a LOT of zucchini picking ( that one's for you Aussie:p) and said they grew loads in just one day, but I never really appreciated how much. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0
