People are rightly wary of posters on this board who pop up infrequently in support of someone who's been banned from the mse board. Why was he banned do you know as you've been following this thread. And no, I don't have a personal problem with him.

Fair enough.. Although the website he set up seems to be having the opposite effect of what he intended.. It seems to be full of disaffected owners desperately trying to sell of their commitments to CLC...

CLC is BLACKISTED by the Timeshare Council - Something that these (newbie 1st post) PRO CLC Reps going around threads posing as happy customers always conveniently forget to mention ;)

Just bumping this helpful reminder from an established poster

Because obviously from this thread he seems to have some sort of interest in timeshare.... That website seems to be there to promote timeshare but a brief look shows wailing and gnashing of teeth.

But the point of the article is that the free holiday is worth it as long as you avoid the laboriously long and total flim flam of the half day timeshare con.

To be fair the representative did ask before he drove us off to visit the timeshare thing were we really interested and that we could just cancel it and have the rest of our day.

Not only did he drive is up to the event he treated us to a late breakfast on the club.

So the answer to the original query of this long thread is if you are offered the holiday give it a go its not a con - you wont get fiddled unless you are stupid and just take my advice - Its amazing how many people rubbish things when they actually have no experience of it just the "oh i heard it on the news or internet or my best mate says...."

Timeshares whatever mode they operate on are a waste of time imho so just say NO.

As to your questions Miss Hollydays yes we were offered alcohol but its another fiddle diddle and we were well aware of all the methods they would use to empty our wallets - sadly i felt sorry for all the auld folks who were obviously a bit glaekit and were having the wool pulled over their proverbial.

And as for the horrible town we went to Nerja and Mijas and Malaga and Gibraltar for some quality nights and days out - thats where holiday planning comes in but does it really matter? - for the average Brit all he wants to do is lie frazzling on a beach somewhere , watch the football, drink some beer and avoid all local culture so your question is moot to 90% of the population.
You are obviously one of the ten percent of "quality" peeps.

And as to your comment about some people will just take anything free - i had actually been diagnosed with cancer at the time and had lost my job so was unemployed so the holiday was all i could afford - next time try and think and have some empathy for others before you presume!
