Ah...the site is changed very much for the better lol

Text isn't same size on all pages, but that's peanuts.

Some strangeness with those little menu icons...they switch to no menu at all ?

Apart from some text being a tad small and some being a lot too big...it's a nice site. Looks professional, everything is a click away, the areas covered is a great idea for search engines and should pick up some extra visitors.

Only two things I wouuld change apart from bugs like text and spelling...that image forces the content off the page a lot, and it doesn't do anything much, it's eyecandy and maybe cold be shallower to allow more words on screen?
I'd think about some kind of example or quote on there as a carrot. Basic CCTV system with blah and blah fitted for £XXX or something easy and popular.

Did you find out the most popular related searches for this type of site? YOu can adjust the wording and put what most people are looking for right where they land then in a promenent position.

    FEEDBACK has no S lol

1000% better than the last version,
    Well done :)

  • Thanks for the input again. I notice you have picked up on a few things since i last pm you the address to take a look once MSE had removed it. Nothing has changed with the template and was a first draft that the designer did for me to look at. Although he is very busy, he may be along soon to comment and answer q's. Please keep the comments coming all.
    thanks

Thats a HUGE form you have there, and very cluttered main page content area.
Space is very badly used. It should be used on useful content being well laid out and things like the menu and form shouldn't take up so much of that valuable page.

Hard to isolate individual items. Why have a sevices link and page if they are all on the index page anyway? The landing page has seconds to grab a surfer, it it's not clear and easy to read telling them the basics they leave. If it tells them the basics they need to know they then follow the links to find out more.

Check what the common search terms are in your trade, that way you will know what is most likely to be catching customers on the landing page...and make that text something simple that describes your service in Google search results.

People don't visit you to fill out a form, they come for an idea of what you are and what you are like....then they fill in the form if they like it.

The contact page is for that purpose...stick to telephone numbers on the other pages, that number and address makes you much more trustmorthy. Some people won't use a site with no RL contact details, and current popular telly shows say this too which won't help.

The site doesn't load ATM for me ...I'm going off the jpg here.

    Fine tuning :)

Your losing me? maybe im being daft. i have re-read your adjusted post.
    to clarify:
    1) the current site (grey with flash at top) is current/existing.
The text i have personally played with but with no experience, its hard.
The whole existing site is to be deleted.
    2) the jpeg posted today on MSE is to be used and maybe adjusted slightly for the new site.

Thanks for the big input on searching my key search terms and adding them as text. Im going to make a start on that and monitor it. if the results show good ( i think they will!) them im going to use them as a base to my new site.

as for the menu icons being redundant, several pages have been ommited.

If you try different words and phrases in this tool it will tell you which are most popular and suggest new ones that you may not have. A tip would be to search for what YOU would imagine a potential client may type...get the top sites from that search and see what they have used that ranks high using that tool....then try and work them into your own site both in text and site description in the head tags.

    https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

If you get yank sites ignore the location based stuff obviously..or adapt it to your required area that you cover. You have that pretty well covered on the existing site, that's a nice idea. and something people will search for.
