Doh!!
For a while there I was mentally perusing the cruise brochures .....
just turned mine over n its got date on the head side god am so blonde sometimes i never even thought of checking that side lol :rolleyes:0 -
Ebay seems to be full of people selling REGULAR 20p coins!
There is one auction for a bog-standard, new-style 20p with the date on the heads side as usual, portrayed as very rare with bidding starting at £20! I've got dozens of those lying around for goodness' sake. Shouldn't be allowed.
I do however have two of the undated 'mule' coins that I would like to sell on Ebay. But I have the same concerns about being fleeced.0 -
I've been looking on Ebay aswell, why on earth are people paying £21 for a normal 20p, is there something special about only having the date on the head side ????
If not then there are a lot of very strange people out there that will buy anything:rolleyes:2011 Sealed Pot Challenge #1238 hoping for £250 ~ saved £743.32
2012 Sealed Pot Challenge #1238 hoping for £250 ~ saved £435.75

The backlash has started already on the Q&A

There are numerous threads with people blaming everyone but themselves for buying 'not dated on the queen's head side' 20p coins for tens of pounds which are actually worth, er, 20p0 -
Ha ha there's one auction for one of the genuine undated coins with a 'Buy It Now' price of £20,000! If I could sell both of mine for that I'd be temporarily rich! :rotfl:0

Surely it's a joke? but there'd be a fare listing fee for a £1.8m BIN, wouldn't there? so possibly an expensive joke for the seller.0 -
