£127.00 for 20 pence piece!!!!

Ladies and gentlemen search out your wallets. The Royal Mint have made a mistake and printed a load of 20 pence pieces without the date on them. These are now very collectable and on Ebay - check this one out:

Coins are very collectable a lot of people use them as a way to invest money. Although it would feel wrong to pay more than 20p for a 20p piece

On the breakfast programme on BBC1 this morning. Darn Rainbows were collecting 20p pieces and I have none now. I hope they spend a bit of time checking them to increase funds for charity.

Well they are only offering £50 here.

This thread inspired me to go and rummage through some old coins I have. I've found a couple of silver half-crowns which seem to go for around £25 on Ebay. They're solid silver, but a bit tarnished. Is cleaning them a good idea or would I be better leaving them as they are?
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(
  • It just ended for £5,800.00  why??? surely that can't be right?
If google doesn't know it, how should i?
