    Hi all,
I spent £47.90 last month. I think I can continue with £65 for this month.
The start of this month isn't very healthy. I went to Tesco last afternoon. Bought 40p of Pita for lunch. Then went AGAIN at evening, WITHOUT any shopping plan (don't try this at home :) ). I found cooked chicken reduced to 60p for 3 pieces. I got one bag with 3 large thighs -- enough for 3 meals. I also bpught a large pack of whoopsed bread at 50p. Lots of junk food...
    I already

    Hi everybody!

Well I failed again last month - plus found some receipts that my OH had forgotten to give me, so my total below is probably even worse!

Anyway - not going to give up - please put me down for £330 again for July.

I did a Tescos online shop - it came to £105.00 but minus the special offers and a voucher I had, I spent £84.00 but hopefully that is us stocked up on all but fresh stuff and meat for a couple of weeks.

Good luck everyone for this month!

My plan of clawing back my 80 odd quid annual overspend is not going so well. Spent £17.77 in Ald1 yesterday on their super 6, eggs, crisps, ham etcand 2 bags of sweets for the cinema at the weekend and then £25.38 in Mr S but this did include a half price bottle of wine for OH at £6 and a bottle for my mum at £4 who is feeding us lunch on Saturday and we won't need tea as will get 3 courses! Also bought all the stuff to make chicken and quorn fajhitas for tonight as BIL is coming for tea.

I only wanted to spend £150 this month but have spent £109.15 already  We have been offered a 2nd hand caravan at a fabulous price and I want to pay for it out of this months salary and not touch the savings which is going to be a toughie unless I stop spending!

I just can't seem to meal plan at the minute, everything I can make from scratch seems too warm!

We had our first beetroot and strawberries out of the garden this week and they were yummy. Think I will make the beetroot into chutney from a recipe I found somewhere on the site.

    Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
    Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%

The local butcher van has just been around the village. I got 6 of his sausages, 1lb mince, 4 baking potatoes, bag of new salad potatoes. Came to £8.13p. Not exactly the cheapest way of buying things, but that means I dont have to go out today. I should have enough stuff in for the weekend. (Except no wine), but I can manage without that if BF is not coming over.
I am babysitting for my Granddaughter tomorrow/sunday, so I wanted simple things that she will eat. She is only 21 months old.

    Monring all!
It's raining with a vengence here in Manc now!

Went to Mr T yesterday to pick up supplies for the weekend (we have visitors) and next week to see us through to holidays.

Managed to spend £33 on not much at all really - or so it seemed.

Never mind - I have a meal plan and everything (except may be a bit of salad that won't keep until when I want to use it) ready.

Hope everyone else is doing ok?

    Morning all

Im at risk of turning into a big puddle -it is scorching here -been 86f or 30c, indoors -in the shade since 9am this morning .... I have the electric fan on full welly and the doors and windows open ...but its still too hot for me ....
When hubby gets in from work we will be nipping shopping for fruit, salad, more water and a few more bits n bobs... we have demolished 34x1.5lt bottles of sparkling water since last friday afternoon .... so that didn't last long.
The "plus" supermarket I usually used re-opened yesterday as a Netto -so I will keep my pinkies crossed that its as good -today and tomorrow they have an extra 10% off everything :jso I may end up buying extra nuts etc for the next couple of weeks and stashing them ..well -it all adds up ;)
Its full scale salad mode in this house -which makes life ridiculously simple (thank god I have a salad mad hubby:p) can't wait for the tomatoes n cucumbers to start being ready in the garden... hoping to fetch my first courgette off in the next couple of days :D
Huxley -the courgette teabread/muffin recipe on the front page is one I posted last year...now its not the healthiest way to eat your courgettes but it is gorgeous..like carrot cake etc....and well worth a try if you have extras ;) Im trying to make myself be good and NOT turn my 1st courgette into it :rotfl:
Dinner tonight will be prawn salad with steamed potatoes
hope everyone is having a good day -will pop back and update once I have done the spending :o
