Evening! I have had a very productive evening. I've done over 4, 000 steps which is amazing seeing as before dinner I had done a fraction of what i normally have by then! And while doing my steps i have done huge amounts of decluttering. Thrown away loads of rubbish and have even started tackling the shelf of doom in the bathroom. Under our toiletries cupboard we have a kind of dressing table/shelf that came with the flat, and it's been covered in everything we don't know what to do with, and loads of other rubbish. So as I kept walking past there doing my steps, i kept moving stuff - throwing away empty things, putting loads of DH'S stuff in a pile for him to see if he still needs, sorting out my CD's (the radio is also kept on this shelf) putting meds and toiletries in the cupboard.

Feels good! It's so much easier to do things when it's cooler!

Going to catch up on the thread while watching Ugly Betty

I am so exasperated - I spent this evening catching up on over 200 posts and was just about to post it when the power went off - only for seconds but enough for the pc to re-start and I lost the post! I am so annoyed at myself for not posting some of it earlier.

I will check back tomorrow as I know thete were some things that I want to asy the rest was my usual ramblings and may just have to be forgotten - thank goodness I hera you say :rotfl::rotfl:

anyway for now I am pooped and off to bed via the kitchen to make a cuppa.

hugs for everyone - even those that dont want them.
sleep well if you can in this heat

see you tomorrow when normal service will hopefully resume

    night night

Toots, that's why I always write replies in notepad and save regularly. There's less catching up to do then! Sleep well xxx

I've spent most of the day fluffing about, did manage to get the veg patch weeded and painted, plus a bench painted but thats about it.:o
How do you paint a veg patch? Well done with all your hard work, no need for the embarrased face - you are doing great!
Vanilla, can’t you take the little ones with you and go with DH to the doctors? I’m really glad he has an appointment tomorrow, that’s great news. If you can’t go, I hope that he will be honest with the doctor

Hex and Dusty and AnW’s mum, hope your ankles are better soon

Methekidsandthecat glad you have found the library books and that dd did the bathroom

Pigpen, I’ve got a better idea about the rabbit droppings – send them anonymously to your ex-husband!

Hugs Toots, that’s frustrating. I always write my posts in Microsoft Word so I can save it – got fed up with losing posts. ETA: Great minds, Soappie!

I’m very impressed with DH as he’s put away all his clean clothes that I asked him to put away :T His mum had ironed everything, even his underwear, so i didn't want his clothes to get all creased again so i'm glad he's put them away quickly.

There must be subtle changes in the weather on the way. For the first time in months, my knees are playing up....

Have done a cheeky stir fry for dinner and most of the washing up is done.

I am shattered. I started clearing out the garage.

In there I have an old fridge that has been there approx 2 years. My aunt and uncle had a new kitchen fitted with integrated appliances and its been in my garage since, until they decided what they wanted to do with it.

Well i decided that in advance of Saturday, I was going to clean it out and use it for wine etc.

But first I needed to clear the garage to get to it.

I should have taken before and after photos of the garage, but Id already started by the time Id thought of that. I build a 5 tier shelf thing, and have loaded boxes of xmas decs, gardening stuff etc all on there. so it looks much more tidy and presentable, and there is now room for DS bike to go in there properly, instead of getting propped up against other rubbish as it used to.

Anyway gained access to the fridge - which looked like this.....

(let me see if these work before i add anymore xxx)

Ok, i think they work, so this is the after photos....

Honestly, the photos dont do it justice......this is what it left in my bath.

And that was only from the shelves, nothing else. But dont worry I dont brush my teeth with that.....thats for horrible cleaning jobs only and this definately qualified.

Oh it was so gross. Anyway, I have done lots of other bits and bobs, took LO for passport photos for his registration forms for next season, then I bought some food for Sat :D

Anyway after doing the garage, I decluttered myself off to the shower - but dont worry I cleaned the bath first......and after.

Oh and I put a wash on xxx
