Woo hoo - note this is your diaries Flyladies cos this will be my first and only early morning post! After having a horrible hayfevery night I am up and feeling refreshed! Gonna have my shower, get ready and at last finish the kitchen and get lunch ready too! Go me!
Opinion, what do you think my chances are of being refunded some money from dinner last night? It was supposed to be 2 mains for 1 if you had 2 courses and we were charged full price, I'm going to question it cos it was £18 too much!
Have a nice day peeps x0 -
Morning lovelies!
Thanks everyone for teenies Birthday wishes, he had a lovely day x
Greenbee We decided to partially knock down the living/hall wall and move the door to the other side, and the stairs/hall are being insulated and boarded result is: I've gained a massive living room (most of the hallway run) a smaller hallway (pretty much a vestibule now) it's warmer and quieter YAY! :j but OMG the MESS! it wont be finished till tomorrow so can't do the big clean up till at least tomorrow evening. I should take pictures.
Jo nice job! :T
pigpen Your siggy is looking fab! well done! :T
No flying for me today, there's carp all over the place, I've got a pile of plasterboard debris the size of a small island just sitting there cause I can't find my dustpan and brush and it's getting trailed everywhere lol the cat's antics are very telling cause there's little white paw prints all over things she shouldn't be on :rotfl: BUSTED!
Will be doing some dailies though, been up since 5.50 am (stoopid hormones) and I'm so wide awake it's not funny, can't do much at the mo cause the kids are still in bed but I'll have a potter to see what I can do.
It's sunny - FINALLY! woot! :j must be something to do with the massive thunderstorm we had yesterday - never seen anything like it, beautiful and scary at the same time, littleys class window got struck with lightning (she's 9 take with a pinch of salt) and it smashed  think it was the thunder personally, oooh and it took the leccy out - TWICE! there was a wonderful car alarm/house alarm chorus outside0 -

I've had a little biting thing inside my bra, and have a neat row of 8 bites just under my bosom :eek::eek: I'm going braless (after my run - can't have them wobbling then  ) and trying desperately not to scratch  Hope that isn't TMISwinstie73 wrote: »Opinion, what do you think my chances are of being refunded some money from dinner last night? Pretty good I would think - with proof of the offer and your receipt :T My initial reaction would be that it's a genuine mistake (that they'll rectify with no complaint) and take it from there.fedupandskint wrote: »Have woken up feelig very weepy which has surprised me as I felt much better yesterday and had planned to go back to work today. Hope you feel better soon :A
Another beautiful day here, so I'll do a shortish runDD was whisked off by her friends yesterday, so I've got her a list of chores to help me with today
See you all later, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Swinstie73 - you definitely should complain! I'm a bit of a wuss at complaining but even I would feel totally justified there. would you have gone to that restaurant if there hadn't been the offer?
fedupandskint - sending you good vibes...it's not easy to deal with things, you'll be amazed at how strong you actually are...
flapping slowly in this heat....I guess I should be using the cooler time of day to do some jobs but feel like I hardly got any sleep last night - too hot, and it sounded like the whole town was traipsing past my window last night (including a bunch of girls singing "Mamma Mia" at the top of their voices at 1am!)
managed to keep up with Level 1 so far, and yesterday I did Monday's Level 2 (DD saw me hoovering at 8 in the morning and looking puzzled asked, "is someone coming round?" I laughed but later on I felt ashamed!:oweaving through the chaos...0 -
