Happy birthday sexymouse, everything crossed for you.

HHC 4.15-4.45 anyone? I am cruelly making the boys tidy the RoD that is the Playroom (cue more crying than cleaning), so think I should get on with something myself.

Sexy well done for dealing with the hitches

Soappie/Polly - thanks - here I believe they don't close on suspected only on confirmed. However, local private school has closed on a suspected. Other state also has suspected now.

Forgot to say Happy Birthday to Sexymouse and hope your interview wasn't too nervewracking!

I spent the afternoon in the garden finishing off jobs in there instead of the spare room which I will do at the weekend most likely.

Have spent all day being mega occupied and busy and this has really helped me not to dwell on things. Keeping to the flying and garden routines has been the biggest benefit to me, more than I would ever imagined when I first started on this thread.

Many thanks to Pigpen, Toots and everyone else who keeps the thread going - it really helps in more ways than one!

hello everyone - I am glad to see you werent getting anxious because I wasnt online - was 'out of sorts' on monday evening with a headache which I havent had for years and then yest was at MacMillan House and was tired but had pc trouble yesterday so didnt get caught up - actually lost a huge post and havent had the energy to go back and re-do it - so huge apologies if I have missed you - not intentional I assure you!!!
going to do catch ups in batches so I can have a break inbetween.
    so here we go..........

ooh... If I clean out the rabbits.. can I count every poop??? so that would mean the 100 and 60 and binbag dance would all be done at once!!
:rotfl::rotfl: only youand mudders could think of that - the answer is No just in case you were wondering!!! a) because its gross!! and b) because it would be for the rabbits to count as its from their house c) if the rabbits are kept outside then you wouldnt be decluttering it from your house as its already outside?? make sense? probably not but the answer is still NO!:rotfl::rotfl:
FFP - what a Ben Washing you have there - hope you got through it and have managed to get it outside to dry.
Princess jane - I think you are very wise cutting some off your extra work - it was a lot and I know you were using it to get your debts down but you will wear yourself ou - and you need me-time too.
jullie jim you have probably sorted it by now but I use avast and have used AVG (both free)with no problems.
embb hope the work in the house hasnt been toooooooooo messy!
methekids LMAO of you taking the router to work - fab idea - hope you have found the library books.
LadyL good to hear you enjoyed Glastonbury - these things always do wear you out even if you are fit and healthy which we arent!!! like you said we have to weigh up the consequences.. Be sure to rest plenty for a few days. (((hugs))) Did the kitties survive without you ?
triker glad you had a nice trip up here and what a lovely but sad reason.
what size/age does DD need for her navy skirt?
kdean hope you have resolved things with your Oh - you should have got a feathe dutser or something long and flicked it down where you could use greenbee's yellow pages trick!! What a horror Oh was - no wonder you were upset ((hugs))
I've been to the chemist on the other side of Guildford as that's the nearest one that had the hayfever gadget DH wanted. Really hope it helps and he stops being a forgetful uncommunicative grumpy miserable person. Oh, hang on, he was like that before he had hayfever.

......., my DH has managed to annoy me every night for the last two weeks.

I'm going to have a sleep. I'm incredibly grumpy, I think it's the heat and lack of sleep. DH refuses to come to bed when I do, plays a game online for hours, and no matter how late I stay up he stays up later. So eventually I give up and go to bed, fall asleep only to be woken by him crashing about getting ready for bed. And then I lie there for hours seething, while he is fast asleep oblivious. I feel I may end up killing him soon, I’m so sleep deprived. Hurray for afternoon naps

Sorry for ranting, it's been building up!
Rosepink you may not like what I have written here - I dont mean to offend you but I am seeing it from an outsider's point of view - feel free to ignore me!!! :rotfl:
I am sorry rosepink but I think you are being very unkind towards your OH - if he has hayfever he will be miserable and if you have never had it you will have no idea how uncomfortable he is feeling. But maybe there is something else bothering him - have you asked him?
I thought you had a nice time when you were away? again have you spoken to him - have you explained that something he is doing is annoying you -he maynot realise that he is doing it or that it annoys you?

I dont mean to be patronising here - remember a marriage is a partnership and you have to work at it and like all partnerships sometimes compromises have to be made on both sides. talk to each other - have an evening without tv/ pc and just chat about what kind of day you have both had/ work/ plans for the next week or month etc etc

Yes you sound as if you need sleep if thats whats making you grumpy - loads of couples go to bed at different times - could you wear earplugs so that you dont hear your Dh when he comes to bed? And dont lie there 'seething' as you put it - relax - try to do an a-z of something and turn it around into a nice thought like 'thats good Dh is here beside me now I am safe' - by thinking angry thoughts because he has disturbed you only makes you more uptight and grumpy.
Try to go to bed at the same time every night for a week or 2 and see if you can get into a pattern - let Dh sort out his sleeping pattern - he obviously can function on less than you so you will not persuade him to go to bed early.
Jo but a !!!!!! - glad you told him where to get off. And I think its a lovely idea to be a bumble bee - pigpen's ideas how to do it are so easy and cheap too! Go for it - it will be a giggle!! Hows the shoes doing - at least that will help towards the holdiday club fund for Ds - thats a lot of money - get more on ebay:rotfl::rotfl:

Well, i've not done much flying yet. DS had a check up at hospital this morning...they now think he had juvenile arthritis. Poor thing. They're not going to do anymore blood tests until his next flare up. The problem is he never complains so it's hard to know when he's in pain.

I've worked, put on a wash and finally submitted the first draft of my disseration. I've had an initial email back from the tutor saying 'it's looking good' and he'll send more comments later - fingers crossed it won't need too much more added.

Mudbath huge squishy (((hugs))) for you and DS - I do hope its growing pains - as for him not complaining - I am sure you have spoken to him but you need to help him understand how important it is to tell you when he has the pains so that they can try to help him sooner. Or is he bothered by it all - does it worry him? If it it arthritis(fingers crossed its not) its good that they have
discovered it now and help him with it. I feel for you honey - I hate it when I hear of you ladies telling us that your children are ill or something is wrong - it breaks my heart.
Well done with the dissertation - thats looking good!!!!
Just had an email from my OU tutor. Current TMA will be late coming back as he is ill again.
I'm really sorry he is ill, that's why it's a mutter not a rant, but the first TMA took nearly four weeks to come back, the second one over four weeks, then we were finally told he had been ill and this one will be back ??. Plus he is apparently going to be away and therefore not contactable. Like I said I don't want to sound unsympathetic, he obviously has serious health problems. But !!!
Aunty Crafty I have to agree with you - its really not acceptable - if he is that ill then he should be giving up or they should be getting someone else to cover his work until he is fit - I dont think you are being unsympathetic and I would be writing to 'complain' how unsatisfactory it is as this has been going on for a while. its like lil_me's useless tutor too.

G&B hope you have sorted out your red white and blue - I like d the idea of the face paints!!! And being a cheerleader! And yes if they want you to do this regularly they should be re-imbursing you or supplyng costumes!
pigpen hope Jacob adjusts to his new surroundings quickly and that they get back home soon.
The Golden Goose sorry to be late - but welcome to the thread - we will try to help you regain control - but you have to promise not to be tooooooooooooo OCD!!!!! (beware of the peg brigade!) I will be sending you a pm shortly - but please dont be afraid to ask anything and jump in when you can even if its just a little bit of the lists - it will all help!
fedup (((hugs))) the counselling will help heal the wounds too so give it time - and be sure to tell your counsellor how it has affected you too xx great bargains at the garden centre - well done to you!
poohbeah naughty you for overdoing it - I know how hard it is - take love xx
helen jelly again sorry for not welcoming you yesterday - its lovely to have you on board and that you like the lists - I have lists for everything!!! will be sending you a pm too. Forget the failures - we dont do failure - just move on - post what you have done and be proud of that
but have 8 new addidtions to our family....OMG, we have chickens, they are sooo cute so have been spending all our time doing their enclosure, they will be kinda free ranging though as soon as the kitten has stopped watching chicken tv....lol
ooooooooooooh feefee how wonderful - and lovely fresh eggs - can we have a piccie at the weekend before they get too big HSBirdChicksRuns.gif....pleeeeese?
FFP just you shoo that BD away as you are not allowed to be AWOL!!!!! ((hugs)))

    back later
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

Sexymouse - sounds like it went okay - well done.

Triker (I think?) - Kays do navy skirts if you normally shop by catalogue.

I've roasted all day today and we've had loads going on and we've been outside with the kids a lot of the time.
