Rosepink - I'm aiming for 7000 every day at the moment and am managing that but I'm on my feet a lot of the time at work. Next week I'll probably be trying to increase it which means I'll have to do extra walking. You're doing really well with what you're doing now - if you want to increase it do it slowly - an extra 100 steps a day for a week so you don't overdo it. I'll probably have to make more of an effort during the school hols because on the days I'm not running about somewhere with the kids I'll probably veg on here - if piggers lets me!
Thanks for the tips Julie (it's nice to know that you aren't too far above me in the amount of steps you do, I feel a bit better now!), and you Greenbee. I'm trying to beat what I did on the same day the week before as some days of the week are very busy and some are harder to get high amounts of steps. Last Tuesday I got 5712 so today will try to get a few more than that.

Plans for the morning are to go out and get DH some hayfever thing that you shove up your nose, and to put some money in the bank. And then to carry on decluttering the LR floor, armchairs and sofa. And hopefully do the bathroom list too!

I will get there eventually, just very slowly. It's soooo hot here already! Poor DH was completely worn out last night and had a long sleep in this morning. He's not long gone out which is why I'm so late posting, as he was playing a game on the laptop.

Princess Jane, I really admire you for being able to work so many hours

Embb, you had the heating on! How crazy this weather is, we are boiling down here in the south!

Hi Lady Liberty glad you had a good time. Make sure you have some restful days this week

My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is.............. one wash a day - Going in now

I am fighting the urge to do nothing today out of spite to DH because he upset me last night....must get over it, doing this for me too! I know I am being petty really but I asked him to remove a huge spider from our room last night as I am scared and he wouldn't so I couldn't sleep and I am now even more annoyed with him because I am tired! I might just borrow BIL's snake and put that in the room and see how he likes it!
