It's a bit cooler here today - overcast but still warm (soappie, if it's still muggy round your way, I suggest you try moving inland for the day!).
Hopefully this means I'll get a bit more done today. I've put away yesterday's washing up, thrown some more stuff out of the fridge (although I think I'll need to give it a clean as it smells!) and put on a load of laundry.
Downstairs is definitely looking clearer, so hopefully I'll be able to get it all clean today. I think a decent walk will probably help, and the lawn also needs mowing which will help with the exercise!
I also need to decide whether to carry on with my personal training sessions this week and next - as I had planned on being away I've got a good excuse. I know that I really should go, but they're early in the morning and I quite like the idea of a lie-in (then again, if I go, hopefully I'll get more done during the day!).
FFP - sort the laundry while you're getting the first load in. You'll be amazed how much more manageable it'll look if you just tidy it into piles. I do this with laundry, washing up, filing etc... it helps as I then don't feel so overwhelmed. And definitely don't iron it. Where did it all come from anyway?!
julie - well done on the steps. Great advice on building up gradually. I've done very badly last week and so far this week, so need to make a real effort to get my average back up again before I get back into bad habits. You'll have to work out a strategy for the holidays.
rose - julie's right. Build up gradually. Maybe set yourself a goal of walking a few houses down the road each day, and build up week by week. The fresh air and sunlight will do you good too. Your weight loss is going well, so keep gradually increasing the exercise and changing the way you eat. Remember, 1000 steps is about 40 calories, so you need to make sure you don't reward yourself with icecream until you've done enough to burn off what you're eating!
Princess Jane - sounds like you've made the right decision. You can only do so much, and your first job is the most important one. Hope you enjoy having a bit more time to yourself!0 -
Well have read the riot act to DD and decided to take the router with me to work - must leave in a minute.
DD has until tonight to create some order in her bedroom and I have given her the list of jobs from here - bathroom day and it is very yukky as i didn't do it last week - being in pain and then away.
Washing in - shower done - draft of letter to Mum's GP done (to be printed and sent from work)
Right going to brave 5 hours in the car now - not all at once but still way to long today!November NSD 1/10Weight loss - 7lbs from the 41 I need to loose = 34 to go0 -

Andy Murray is not in favour with us English roses....it's all to do with a comment he made in 2006 I think it was about how he'd support anyone except England..
Yes, but us Scots remember the comments the English made that were far more severe than anything Andy Murray said....... I dont really think its a topic for the thread.Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Suppose I should have a shower and get dressed, and then I might make a bit more progress... the WM has finished, so I need to hang the laundry out and strip my bed to get the next load in...0
