better get started on some catch ups before you lot get blethering any more!
swinstie as embb said the best thing is bio washing powder -you may not get it all sparkly this time - you can leave it and go back to it next week remember - the more often you do it the better it will get.
soappie you never said about the fit blokes - did you have an enjoyable ogle!!!
jo thanks for the heads up on the candles - will check that out - and thats brilliant for your shoes!:T
fedup I think it would be a good idea to have the day off when you are seeing the counsellor as it could be too draining for you. I am plsead for you that you have made a start and already are addressing 'baggage' - that is brilliant - well done to you. big (((hugs)))
AnW'sMum WTG you - the R of Doom will have to be re-named soon!! And well done with the freecycling too - you have been very lucky with that and its great that the people are coming and collecting quickly.
Hi Summermoon good to see you back -you know you can regain control with the lists so take your time and you will get there (hugs)
lilysue thats was a busy week you - hope your Mum enjoyed her birthday - hugs for H and I hope he begins to relax about his new school - it must be the blue blood in you both that attracts the bites:rotfl: nasty though -I hope you have a suitable remedy.

Another wash done and on the line. Just having a cuppa then I think I will put DD up for a nap and tackle the vacuuming. I find it so much easier to get stuff done when it is sunny, puts me in such a good mood.

kdean you are doing really well - and yes i agree about the sun!
pooh have a lovely time while your niece is with you and enjoy being a tourist - get the others to help so you can have time out!!
carlsberggal OMG you were on a roll this morning - you are def ahead for the week - and WTG with the house sale thats brilliant - I like your time management too!!! I hope Dh isnt too washed out after yesterday - I think he is very lucky to have you beside him and he must think so too or he wouldnt be opening up with you - It will never go away but hopefully he can come to terms with it a bit better now that he has talked about it more. Some of the others have made better pots than me and I agree with every one of them - and I also agree with Froddy that your relationship with BIl is being destructive to Dh and you should consider it carefully - I know what you said about family being important but there are some times when you have to just back off - DH is far more important than that ignorant tw*t IMHO (((hugs)))

Had a great 1st week last wk. Much more productive than I normally am. Definitely noticed it on Friday night when we had unannounced visitors. Usually if this happens I would have had a mad 5 mins running round the house tidying up, S&Sing, etc. Not Friday tho! I felt like my house looked fine... not perfect, but fine, so no need for the mad 5 minute panic :D

Thats brilliant choccy and thats just after 1 week - just think what it will be like after a month!!

going to post this and then do some more
    tootsxx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Text OH to tell him was still cleaning so in my HHC, I managed to get the microwave cleaned, the floor hoovered and the rest of the worktops tidied. Gonna put dinner on, eat and wash up, then clean the floor and that's it, the tidiest kitchen ever!

Will try the washing powder next time Toots & Embbs, one rack was nice and clean and the other not but will get it next week.

Ah the sun is blazing here and showing up all the dust bunnies - eek!

Very pleased I've got all of today's mending done on the machine, just a few odds and ends to hand sew later. I'm in a right 'make do and mend' mood. Machining in the garden (under the parasol was lovely as I had the radio on in the kitchen and could hear it through the door.

Dusty - that sounds so lovely. I am quite jealous ;)

OK, my HHC lasted slightly longer, but I wanted to get my tea on so I can watch the tennis :D

I tidied the cloakroom and hall (then I remembered I was going to do them seperately when everyone else does the kids room, doh!)
Polished 2 big mirrors in hall
    Dysoned.
    S&S kitchen.
    Unloaded TD (from sat)
Made beef strog & mash cauli
    Cleaned radiators in LR
I'm sure I've done more, best get my list and check

I'll be doing a HHI around 7.30, after tea I think if anyone would like to join me :D
