Soappie and AnW'sMum enjoy your meals this evening

Thanks Dusty - I will, I'm just about to start it. Steaks don't take long and we have strawberries and cream for pud.
soappie you never said about the fit blokes - did you have an enjoyable ogle!!!

I certainly did! They were in shorts and t-shirts and there for a good hour!;)
Soappie always has wise words and maybe can say it succinctly

:o Yup, that's me. I am renowned for calling a spade an f*ing shovel.... and thank you for your kind words about wisdom.....

I have written loads today and am quite mentally pooped. We had a nice breeze this afternoon so I was able keep fairly cool in the garden. But it's now gone all still and hazy again and is too humid and warm for me. I think it will be uncomfortable sleeping tonight.

Off to cook steaks and rustle up salad.

Didn't know you were in Scotland too Toots, then remembered Jinky mentioning visiting you (or did I just make that up?)

Well had dinner and have watched both episodes of Grey's, wasn't as sad as I expected, I was howling more last week when Izzy got married! Oh and I worked out who the JD was (won't say too much in case peeps haven't seen it)! Not done much else in the house but at least de-cluttering my V+ box!

DW filters cleaned, washing up done by hand, dry laundry brought in (I'll put it away soon) and plants watered. I'm halfway through clearing out my handbag (in that I've hauled out all the stuff I can see like the receipts, but I haven't actually emptied it properly!).

Downstairs is starting to look clearer, so hopefully once the decluttering is done (the bin and the recycling are both looking a lot fuller, and I've done some odds and ends of filing) I will actually be able to get the cleaning done.

My dad is thinking of visiting on his way home at the end of the week, so I'll need to be cleared up by then. He's going to take my old kitchen table away with him, as it's a gate leg one that will fit in the back of his car. Unfortunately my original kitchen table and my dresser won't fit in the car, so I'll have to arrange to have them shipped back to my parents' house at some point... when I'm feeling a bit more energetic!

I now need to locate the notes for the last finance committee meeting, as I need to write them up and circulate them in time for next week's meeting!

The selling reminder really worked for me last week and 3 items have sold now that I relisted plenty of times not too much money made however very glad they have gone and a little more space is being created
