I don't appear to have made much progress, although I am slowly clearing all the floors and surfaces downstairs (and moving most of the stuff upstairs ). I'm still tired, but think that's probably due to lack of exercise - I walked to the school and back, but that's only a couple of thousand steps, so I'll be coming in well under my 12,000 average :o

Hopefully things will start to pick up soon... I have so much to do!

Well done to those of you who have managed to get so much done today.

Level 1 done but going to try and improve on last week and do Level 2...now here comes the stupid question...:o... what do you use to wipe down the walls and paintwork? I'm thinking soapy water but if anyone has any tips please share!

had a good sort out of DD's wardrobe so we can see what she needs so will brace myself for a shopping trip next week. I'm a disgrace to womenkind - I'm useless at cleaning and hate going shopping!
phizzimum thats fine - depends on how bad - you might want to use stardrops or something stronger that you have on the woodwork if they are badly marked - once you get it clean then a soapy cloth wipe over will be all you will need! be careful not to over-wet the wallpaper - wring your cloth out well! And you are no such thing - tell me where it states that you must be good at housework and love shopping???? go on tell me tell me tell me:rotfl: there are quite a few ladies on here who dont like shopping and you are not useless you have not been guided what to do but you are asking questions and willing to learn and thats the first step - we will soon make you into Anthea and Kim and Aggie!!!:rotfl:

Phew it's definitely a bit warm out there.
Went to the hairdressers, I'm now definitely blonde! Love it though. She gave me loads of freebies  Free toner and treatment when she washed it, cut and blowdry for price of blowdry, free sample shampoo conditioner and treatment sachets (4 of them instead of 1), plus 20% discount on colour and 30% on blowdry. I like my new hairdresser!
And bought my mum's birthday presents for next week, bath stuff, nice choccies, wine glasses and a good book. She needs a shove to make her relax!

Haven't done much on my list, it's too george.

Well leaving a list didn't really help as DD (ha) only managed 1 thing - she picked up the washing that had been dumped on the floor when some one got it in from the line - whoppy di - she put it on the sofa with the other mess......

Still not found library books either - not my favourite person - can you tell!

I have been in for about an hour now - have cooked and decluttered a lasagna - which was lovely but now I must brave the midden that is DD's bedroom to look for her blessed library books.

Then still no time for me as DS has a job applicatiuon form to fill in, I have a letter to write to parents GP. DS also now decided to go to uni - a day before applications closes - and has lost/forgotten the UCAS pass word - deep joy.

Think will try it in HHC - so will be back at 9.15

 I never knew I was pregnant till I was 21 wks DS1, 15 wks DS2 and 25 wks with DD. I was always running around panicing I'd never be ready in time. So nearly had DS2 in OH work van just got to hospital and walked in the door and dropped him there and then:o I prayed when I had DD that I wouldn't have another 20 minute labour.

Cleaned out 1 of the drawers in the kitchen, just 2 to go then I'll start the cupboards. Haggis supper decluttered. And just got a letter that had been delivered to a neighbour which means that I can't quit smoking on the 1st as the 2nd is going to be too stressful and I'll need to smoke that day. Off to try to do a bit more studying then I can do a bit more xstitch if I'm good.

ETA Toots got the extention means I have to have essay in by 14th so that gives me a bit of time. Glad it's not too hot where you are it's roasting here and OH wants the heating on !!!!!!!

Grrrrrrr - my two can't sleep because my neighbour three doors down children are on their trampoline and making so much noise. They're only 5 and 6 too - they SHOULD BE IN BED! It doesn't help that their mum is my mate. She refuses to put them to bed before they want to go. Ok, rant over!

DH has finished the ironing. I've vacuumed all downstairs and brushed stripes again! I'm not very good at watching a whole tennis match...they go on too long! xx
  • Got back from a sweltering day in town but there's still a really heavy sea fog over us, which was obviously nice for being cooler here but the washing just isn't drying. This fogs been here for days now - like something out of a horror film
