This weeks MACAW..... do at least 1 wash a day rather than save it all for the weekend. 3 washes done today (I had saved most of last weeks:o)

I can sit and rest for a bit before DH and mate come in rather that running round like a loony picking up all sorts to make it look semi-presentable!

carlsberggal huge hugs for both of you - thank goodness DH is able to talk to you -you are so supportive and caring - I think BIL attitude is totally appalling, disgusting, unbelieveable, blinkered, shameful, dreadful, shocking horrendous - cant think of enough words to describe how bad I think he is for being like that.

Carlsb - I'm sending humungous positive healing andbe happy vibes to you and yours. I have direct experience of working with people who have been in 'Stan, Iraq, Kosovo, Boznia, Falklands etc. And whichever war you fight in, however long ago, it doesn't get any easier - there are things you can't just 'get over' because they are in the past. And 'manning up' is not easy to do. I think maybe you need to rethink your relationship with your in-laws.... luv 'n stuff xxx

^^^ wot they said. Excellently put as usual.

ahh, thanks Swinstie - we used to have one of those, then we had another child and it became their bedroom - all the junk got put in the loft so I guess that's my RoD. DH keeps threatening to do a loft conversion and that makes me shudder!

ok ok I'm going to do something more productive...

They are both in the bath now so that they are clean for sleeping over at Mum and Dad's while I go out with my friends for a meal. Think we are going to wander down to the local Indian in the village. I need to drop Miss A at cubs first.

Have a lovely evening out AnW.

Just as well I bought really large rump steaks at the butcher today. I 'd planned on halving them and putting one half in the freezer. But, DS has now got a friend coming round so he will have the fourth half...

Very pleased I've got all of today's mending done on the machine, just a few odds and ends to hand sew later. I'm in a right 'make do and mend' mood. Machining in the garden (under the parasol was lovely as I had the radio on in the kitchen and could hear it through the door.

WM on a 'clean' cycle as I've washed the cat's bedding today. DW filter cleaned so will run that through on clean tomorrow (after getting more soda crystals)

Time to sort out dinner now before picking up the boys who so will not want to come home.
