Not done any flying yet...going to get going as soon as I finish this post.

Vanilla....huge hugs for you. You have so much to cope with at the moment...do your or DH have any family nearby that could maybe come over for a couple of hours to give you a break now and again. You need a bit of looking after too. x

AnW's mum....well done on 45 minutes in the RoD....my RoD is the back of the armchair in the lounge where I have two boxes full of paperwork...it was 2 boxes and a bag but the bag has been sorted yesterday.

Summermoon...hope you DH goes on ok with his new job. My DH is in week 2 of his new job.

Tia....lots of sofa breaks and lots of water for you today. Hope you're not suffering too much with the heat.

Dustykitten....DD2 has got some piriton...I managed to get some on Friday from the doctors and the rash does seem to be improving a bit and not getting worse, but I hadn't thought of calamine lotion. Thanks for that. Think I'll get some as she's starting to itch with it now.

OK, need to move and get some things done. MIL is picking up DD1 from school so I've got until 3.30pm when she gets home.

    Off I go....

    Hello Ladies
Sorry been gone for awhile, had a lot to deal with and not been able to do much other than work, eat and sleep! Things aren't going to get much easier for awhile so hoping to at least keep my house tidy even if my life isn’t

Only aiming for level 1 this week but if I can do anything extra I will do. Still trying to regain my energy though so will only do what I can and stop if needed.

Hugs for all who need them at the moment, only caught up on this weeks thread as I have all of last week to catch up on.
Carlsberggal, I hope OH is ok, if it wasn't for people like him things would be very different (and much worse) for a lot of people! Some people don't see it like that unfortunately though and they probably wouldnt last 5 mins doing what your OH has had to do.

Hugs to all who are having tough times with OH's, DD's/DS's etc etc
Will try and keep up with posting, give's me a small space to moan (on my diary though, I wont post on here as would take a lot of space :o)
    Love to all

Afternoon everyone, on this very hot Monday afternoon..

Afraid I haven't done anything at all since getting up at 9.30am. Oh wait I did fall asleep on the sofa at 11am. It's this darn heat it's unbearable here. I've tried without windows open and curtains shut tight, and still it's hot. So I've now got the windows fully open, and curtains shut and the air blower going. Daren't go upstairs as it's like a sauna up there.:o According to my weather gizmo it reached 38 deg in the garden at 11.37 this morning..yikes that is hot!!!

Haven't read the thread I'm afraid, so hugs to everyone that wants/needs them

Thank you to Toots and Pigpen for doing the stars and lists.

Well as you can tell the laptop is now up and running and is purring like a kitten. Unfortunately I had to do a major reformat, once the discs arrived. Oh and you will never guess what - I only found my original discs after the replacements arrived. To say I was not happy is an understatement..:rotfl:

I'm not going to be doing any flying until later this afternoon/evening when it has cooled down, but I will do bits as I see them during the rest of the afternoon.

Bevan - thanks for the kind words
God I'm on a roll today, pity it won't last!!
Went home at lunch to make salad to take back to work, and because the mist had burned off I put a load of whites in dw.
Went out on 2 accompanied viewings - one near to my house so I nipped home, hung the washing out and put a whole garlic chicken in the oven on low to have with salad for dinner.
Better still, I’d only just got back when the viewers came back into office and offered on one of the properties and the vendor has accepted!!

Keep it in the fridge and then it is cooler when you apply it.

Found out on Thursday night that poor old ds3 has taken after me and is reacting badly to insect bites..his are finally beginning to calm down but they were really nasty, hope you get some relief from the anti-hs when you take them.

Your potential garden shade sounds lovely!

Sorry to hear about your DS, how old is he? I've taken some cetirize, just having a cuppa then I'll start on the piriton.

DS2 likes the shirt I got him in the Debenhams sale so that saves us traipsing out.

Boys going to play tennis in a bit so I'll be able to get back to the sewing machine. So far I have:

Fixed the seams on 2 x school troussers
Sewn the handles back on a cloth bag
    fixed DS3's medal ribbon
    repaired school trousser pocket.

    To do:
    Fix OH jeans pocket
    Hem on my tops x2
    DS3 golf club cover
