• Thank you to all of you! I have just placed an order for Acai Berry and Effective Cleanse, also recommended by a friend. HOwever, something didnt sit quite right with me(though it was after the event!!) and when I googled the company LB Cybernet Entertainment I received this thread. I have cancelled my card immediately. Cahoot were fantastic. There is a bock on my current card and a new one on the way. From ordering products, finding this thread and cancelling card it was a total of 25 minutes. Thank you so much to everyone.
• Thanks again - see previous post.

Same company appears to be trading under tradingplanetltd.com and effectivecleanse.com sorry if this has already been mentioned, I couldnt read all the pages of the thread!

Many Thanks
• Hi everyone and commiserations for falling foul of the Dazzle White scam. I too fell for it a few months ago and my bank gave me a number for Pristine Health . The unpleasant representative did arrange a refund and supposedly cancelled "my orders". That was back in November, however I have noticed today that 2 unauthorised payments of $16.63 have been taken from my account from the following companies:

SUP*MAXIMIZEYOU US 16.63
SUP*WORLDFIT US 16.63

I can only assume that these are connected with the Dazzle White scam as I haven't given any of my card details online since. Can anyone tell me if they are connected. I didn't receive any products so can only guess what they might be.

I tried to email support@ Dazzle White.com to ask but the email address and the Dazzlewhite.com site no longer exists, or at least I can't connect to them.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards
Gary

Yes, they seem to be connected to the dazzlesmile scam - they use dozens of different names, phone numbers, websites etc: See http://www.killphishing.com/MegaScam.htm which lists hundreds of them!

From: http://www.iripoff.com/12702/dazzle_smile.html

"have taken about $206.00 from my acct. at at a very bad time for me financially. I sent the product back and asked them to stop ALL future charges or shipments after the first charge of $87.62. The first number they provided was no longer in service. they sent me a email stating my refund would be up to 10 business days, 2 weeks later I get another email stating that I'm approved to by refunded? ..........but still no refund of any kind, then I get this......

$2.95 10/16/09 HEALTHSMILE 8668257477
$3.95 10/16/09 HEALTHCLNS 8668781512
$87.62 11/09/09 ULTIFRESHWELL 8669485508
$87.62 11/13/09 PRISTINEHLTH 8666764122

You will need to get your card company to do a chargeback against these unauthorised charges and to block any future charges - asking the scammers for a refund may mean they just refund you under one name and then charge you again (perhaps several times) under different names!

• I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that people like dazzlwhite put so much creative energy into duping people like me instead of getting a proper job.
meanwhile I want to cancel my deal but have had emails addressed to support@dazzlewhite.com rejected undeliverable.
Can anyone out there help me with a genuine email address or telephone number that I can use to contact dazzlwahite?

ok i got caught out with this aswell and have been getting charges from a sister company but by luck i found a phone number for customer services
The number to call is 0-808-120-1987. They are available 5:00 AM – 8:00 PM (MST) Monday to Friday. On Saturdays, they are open from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (MST). They are closed on Sundays.
I just called them they asked for my details and managed to trace me through my email address and informed me that they were not taking money from my account and asked for the code from my statement and they gave me another contact number( 08081202346 or support@worldclubfitness.com which i have now called and successfully cancelled my subscription hope this helps unfortunately no refunds are being issued :-(

Barclays are absolutely useless. Their Indian call centre is hopeless and neither understand or help.

Another 58.08 is pending from my account (don't know who from yet but almost certainly another payment to this company under a different name). Barclays won't do anything. I have cancellation confirmations, proof of delivery, you name it and yet they're saying they can do nothing. I have finally received a letter regarding the chargeback for 15.57 take out on 29.12.09 but nothing else at all so far. I'm currently down nearly £130 - I cannot afford this.

Strange how most other banks are seemingly doing all they can to help customers but Barclays are seriously dragging their heels on this matter, and yet closing my account down with them won't make things end. I've continually asked them to do things to resolve the matter and even though they say they'll do so they haven't. Utterly ridiculous. Their standard of customer service is a joke. I feel a letter to the Financial Ombudsman coming on...

I honestly don't know what else to do - I'm down £130 which I can't afford, Barclays won't do anything much despite being aware of what is happening and despite me having proof of cancellations/delivery, etc.

Agnetha, have you tried going into your branch and taking them to task? Or, if your debit card is a Visa card, contacting Visa directly, they must know what is going on and may be more interested than Barclays. Closing your account may not put a stop to the withdrawals but it would send a very clear message to Barclays. While you're in the branch you could also complain about their call centre! Further back in this thread someone posted that Visa had removed 100 such companies from their service because of this problem, giving them a few more newer names would be just as effective. Plus the numbers at the end of these withdrawals tend to be the telephone numbers of the companies, it may be worth trying phoning them to see if you can get something sorted.

I have my fingers firmly crossed because I have had no withdrawals in over a month.

Perhaps we should find out Jesse Wilms address and start signing him up to unsolicited goods or send letters of protest!
