'Based off-shore'? LOL. The Indian call centre is pathetic IME (one of the myriad of reasons why I'm leaving BT totally). We all know this is an exercise in cost-cutting by BT with absolutely no thought given to how it impacts customer service.Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
BT told me it was impossible for another broadband provider to give me a speed faster than the one they are providing lolKavanne

Agreed, I too am leaving BT this Thursday, I have already received the " Sorry you are leaving us " letter, telling me what I will miss, I too will not miss the " off shore " calling centre.0 -

Just activated today, went on speedtest.net and I am downloading at 11.09Mbps. When I tested on Sun with BT it was 2.5Mbps.

Thanks for everyone's input, it is much appreciated. Since I last wrote I have been in daily contact with BT. They eventually admitted that they might have a fault on the line so an engineer arrived wednesday A.M. He checked my internal wiring and went back to the exchange where he reset my connection. He said it could take upto 72 hours to see any difference, when he left I was getting 1.25 mb. This has gradually gone down and now rests at 450k. It seems to me that every time they reset the connection it goes back up in speed but then it falls again? This must be a line fault, would you agree? where to go from here?
