I don't get peoples opinions on this fraud is fraud. It's cheating everyone, because of people like this we can't get the adaptations done in our home to make it disabled friendly.

don't mean to be rude, but how can you prove that?? Don't you think it's a bit sweeping?

My father died of a brain tumour, however, for the 18 months prior to his death, my mum and I looked after him with no assistance what so ever (not for the want of trying may I add). It never even entered my head that the reason we could'nt get help was the fault of those people commiting fraud.
I mean, he even got sent an appointment to attend a medical  even tho' the dss were aware he was terminal. My mum had the upsetting job of contacting them and telling them my father was unfit to leave the house, let alone attend a medical.

All in all, we sharp came to the conclusion, that even tho' my dad had worked hard during his lifetime, the goverment didn't actually give two hoots about him or us, or other people in similar situations.
  • oh and your right, fraud is fraud, so as people concern themselves with benefit cheats, they should also concern themselves with buisness men ect.. tax evading and whatever other fraudelent schemes people have up their sleeves.

I hope my statement is inaccurate, but I'm very much doubting it. I bet some people wouldn't even realize they were commiting fraud to be honest, which maybe the case in the instance we have been discussing.

As for abusing taxpayers money, I think people need to look no futher than the british goverment. Whos stopping them from abusing taxpayers money?? Maybe a telephone line should be set up against Tony Blair and posse.

I take your point and agree with you on some of them but the fact is that the government was voted in after a democratic election, I wonder how many people who moan about them actually voted (I am not suggesting for a moment that this is true of you, just asking the question). We can do something about the Government at the next election but in the meantime we can also do something about people who screw money out of us taxpayers to which they are not entitled. I am not for a moment knocking those people who are genuine and in receipt of legitimate benefits - they deserve every penny.

To be brutally honest, I doubt it would change anything which ever goverment is in power. I haven't got time for any of them. You would be hard pushed to make a new spitting image series based on the characters of the political parties of today. They would all be teeth and no lips and would be a set of clones.
By the way, I am laughing at the thought.

he serious Fraud Squad replied to me about a year and a half ago about self certified mortgage fraud.

They said it would not be in the countries best interest to investigate it.

    I guess..

1: they looked for a second like they would actually have to do some work.

2: Although this is without any doubt the largest fiscal crime that has ever happened and 100% fraud it would obviously not be their job to investigate it.

    3: It is a crime

4: they are aware of it

5: Being complicit of a fraud is a crime.

6: They are by omission of duty committing a crime.

7: to a man the police force of the uk are guilty of this.

8: Until I die I will despise the police

I know I have laboured this point.. but.. this has dragged this on for much longer..
Even more morrons will patiently explain how rich they are with this huge debt they can't even begin to understand.. or pay more then interest against....

But they will get that smug grin and explain their logic that makes your mind bend with the insanity of it all...
No idea in their heads at all that they are caught in the twisted ballet that has been the economy of the world since biblical times..
    No idea at all..
Police, it is serious.. it will break the country and destroy the lives of so many.. it's your job.. Do your job you burden criminal scum..
Lie to buy.. Don't listen to your peers.. they are dumb.. if house prices were meant to be this high they would have been already.
    Think about it..

I people living in council houses / claiming benefits etc have done nothing wrong then they have nothing to hide.

Keeping hold of the council house if you don't intend to use it is selfish and takes away the posability of someone who needs it using it.

Get your friend to telephone the local council and just tell them what they know. If the council thinks its worth looking into then its up to them!

I think deary65 is pointing out that modern civilisation is about to end because of self certified mortgage fraud and that we should all start stocking up on tinned food.
