I want to write an email or letter to clarify the situation and to complain about my treatment. Can you guys help, especially those who have done this before me?

    Thank you xxx

(Sorry if I confused anyone just now, got muddled up between bonjovilbel and moyilla!). My original post to bonjovibel was edited accordingly!

Moyilla, in your case I am afraid you may be on to a loser because it's only the printed mocs your store has an issue with. There's nothing you can do about this because acceptance of internet-printed mocs is at the Manager's discretion. As the Duty manager has done some checking with Dundee, the Store Manager would be very likely to listen to him if push comes to shove.

So I wouldn't even write to anyone, sorry. Unless you want to complain the the SM about the DM's attitude, you could try that...but the internet prints problem is unlikely to become anything different in that store from now on IMHO.

One of my local stores follows the coupon policy fine but no longer accepts ANY internet-printed coupons at all - not even Couponstar Safe Coupons and NOT EVEN if you buy the product! This is the store where I originally wrote to the Store Manager as they were not allowing one of each moc. But sadly when they subsequently stopped accepting printables there was nothing I could do about that as it's down to the Manager (there had been too much coupon abuse among the staff using printables again and again each day).

So I would say you now have a store where you can use one of each coupon as long as they are not printed, and then add only any printables that comply with their store rules.

At least you can use printables if you buy the product and any Couponstar ones (that's more than some of us can I am afraid). Do you have another store in reach? (I do so I just use printables there, it's worth the trip even though the other store is nearer).

I've read on various forums that Tesco do have issues with not being able to redeem some internet printed mocs; I expect the DM spoke to one of the Managers at Dundee who knows about the issues. It wouldn't surprise me if Tesco stop taking internet printed coupons nationally at some point.

Sorry to say IMHO there's probably no point raising your profile further, you'll just have to source real mocs a bit harder like some of the rest of us do. Trips to the Good Food Show, buying tons of Pikapaks and the right magazines, swapping on PTS and possibly buying a few mocs on eBay may be your way forward now.

hi was going to print out the email but thought it would be ok seeing as i used coupons in the same store yesterday guess it depends what sa you get....i asked the cashier she said fine use them then she asked another sa who said we dont accept them at all i told her i spoke to cs yesterday which i did and she said i could use unlimited coupons, she then went to ask cs herwself but you guessed it the lady who told me wasnt there today just an old trout who tried saying either 2 coupons or you have to buy the product.....still not satisfied i asked them to clairfy it with the manager as i had printed off all these vouchers after getting the ok yesterday and now i cant use them.....

they finally got the non food manager to come down aparently the store manager wasnt in on sunday and he said he has not heard of any policy and started reading the terms and conditions on the coupons which obviously say you have to buy the product i tried explaining that was the manufacturers policy not tescos policy but he wasnt budging and by then my hubby had turned a bright shade of red and was just saying leave it i was going to just say i dont want my shopping then but hubby was so embarassed he wouldnt let me and made me pay for it with cash....was not a happy bunny to say the least lol...then we argued most of the way home about him never coming to tescos with me again lmao why are men such wusses when it comes to saving money...didnt hear him complaining yesterday when i bought beer for him with my coupons lol

do you think i should contact cs tomorrow to get it clarified at my local or jsut leave it?

I have exactly the same problems as you with OH complaining and moaning about mocs - apart from - like you - when they are used to buy beer!! Wish he was a bit more like some of the blokes on here who have moccing down to a fine art. Ah, well...........I can dream that one day he will be as good as this lot.

My coupon friendly store was not so friendly today.

Tried telling me i could only use £1.20 of the £10 in coupons i handed over, due to the 10% rule. I had spent over £50, so refused to accept the decision, and they eventually allowed them all through.

Kept the people behind me waiting 15 mins in total - 10 of them AFTER the store had closed.

    Numpties!!!!

Mr T's was like paddy's market today - never seen it so busy, thought they had a huge sale on that I didn't know about! No Mail on Sunday to be had, which was going to mess my spend up but OH was outside in the car so sent him off to try and find some elsewhere. Whilst waiting I carried on browsing and spotted a dog eared copy laying on top of a rack of clothes - so I quickly swiped that lol!

Anyway I'm hoping that someone can help me out. I'm of up home later this week to the lovely Costa Del Yorkshire to see the family. My local Mr T's will be the one on Canal Rd in Bradford. I used some coupons there about a year ago (but only a few couponnet ones) so don't know how friendly they are. So if anyone knows how moc friendly that store is, or even any other stores within the Bradford/Leeds area that are very moc friendly I would really appreciate any info either on here or by PM.

Lubylwu - No I print them in preview - I stay clear of Adobe as it doesn't let me do what I want :rotfl:

Sinede - I will try 4 to a page next time I print some off - not sure my printer is good enough to print clear bar codes - but worth a try. thanks

Do you change the print quality so that it's on best? This will make barcode clearer for scanning.
