    If anyone's local newspapers were the ones that had a few coupons in a while back (they were in various parts of the Country, mocs included Andrex Shea Butter moc, and some drinks ones, if that rings any bells) then have a look this week as there's an exciting 50p off Horlicks in there this time.

    I didn't bother as the rag costs more than 50p and isn't worth reading...but just thought I would mention it in case anyone thinks their local rag is worth it for a 50p moc. I think it's only valid in August IIRC.

    The paper cost 62p! lost 12p:eek: & as usual the local paper is full of carp!!!!

    Evening everyone,

    Hope you all had a good day? Another bummer for me, I really am fed up with it tbh.

    Long story short, SA wanted to check if he could accept the £5 Lidl coupon. Told him I had them accepted 3 times this week as a "Non - Scan Coupon" but if he wanted to check that was fine.
    Guess who came when the light was put on..................yep my new best friend the Deputy Manager :rolleyes: (3 customers behind me to in a nice long line :o)

    "No you can't use them here" he says. "Here is my 3 receipt's showing that the coupon was accepted" I said. He never looked just said "Well they were taken from you wrongly. You can pay me back the money if you want"

    I was like this :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    I turned and looked him in the eye and said "No problem, if there is an error on my part I will of course rectify it, hang on I only have a £20 note can you give me £5 change?"

    "No it's fine it's fine" and walked away.............. I was so embarrased, even the SA didn't know what to say.

    I wish CS would hurry up and reply to my email :cool:

    Blue had a great shop today, spent £37.29 and paid 9p.:j I do love those young SA lads :D Then as leaving checkout checked the receipt and found that I had been overcharged for a reduced item by £2.98. Off I trot to the CS desk and got a double the difference payment of £5.96 in cash :j:j
    Thanks gill and pink for getting the mail vouchers last week whilst I was ill, used them today :T:T:A:A
    Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

I even managed to use the Lidl voucher along with the 2 new CIF and Pizza Express MOC (amongst others) :T:T:T Im that chuffed at our savings that I may well crack open a bottle of Bulmers :D:j
