To be able to use a Gizmondo as a Sat Nav you need to purchase additional software that costs approx. £100. Been trying to find it cheaper but failed!!

What additional software????? It comes with copilot 6 supplied what else do you need

The ones that Argos had in the store that i went to did not come with copilot 6 supplied. Therefore that would have to be bought which costs approx. £100.

Nope sorry m8... picked mine up from argos today and it came with Navigator 2006 (powered by co-pilot 6). It even installed on my PDA no bother as well. There are a few features that dont work now but the GPS is excellent. It doesnt say it comes with Navigator on the box it just says GPS and the SD card is in the box

This is no longer listed anywhere... you have to do it by phone or go instore. Its from an old catalog

I also bought one from Argos today and there was no Navigator software with it. Maybe there are different packages available and i got the wrong one!! What was the product no. on the side of the box? Mine was 064/1555 as stated at the beginning of the thread.

Product no is the same... I phoned and reserved it because the website wouldnt show it and didnt want to roam about different argos shops. It came on a seperate SD card from the game..

Can anyone else confirm if this has the GPS Software included with the Gizmondo. I have one reserved at the Coventry Store, I dont really want to waste a trip to go and purchase it if it doesnt have the Sat-Nav with it!

If i went to customer services, is there anything inside the box I should be looking for if they allow me to look inside of the box?
