Sorry to hear that SM. Take it easy and don't rush it. Is anything classed as cardio as long as it gets your heart rate up? You could do lots of press ups, tricep dips (ouch!) too - that normally gets my breathing going if I do it fast enough!
I on the other hand haven't done any exercise for nearly 2 weeks. I have been thoroughly shattered with kids getting me up at 5am. By the time the kids have eaten and gone to bed I am ready to fall asleep grrrrr. Perhaps I'll get on there tonight - I had a lie in til 6.30am this morning!!!I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Lu - Good luck for this week - I've taken over your cheerleading role for now, hope thats ok!
AM - You ll soon lose the half a pound although demoralising its nothing really to gain that....but we don't half beat ourselves up about it don't we. New weight on comes off quickly.
SM - Hope your ankles better, do you think it's the ankle weights that have done it? Hows the excercising going...You doing upper body workouts for now ?
Bitsy - At least the THOUGHT of exercising is there even if you haven't had the time. I'm sure you'll find time soon. It's not as if your not exercising though as after all you have kids!

SM - It's your thread and a jolly good idea too....what do you think about having a set day that we weigh in just as a little incentive to post on regular days? Not to post weights etc .(OoooOOoOOooh No ) too scarey that just to post how much we had lost that week etc. I'd be up for it anyway it may keep me on track a little too (when i stop cheerleading of course). I'd like a monday or a friday if you would be up for that? Plzeee Stop me if I'm ahead of myself. x0 -
hi SW sounds like a good idea although i can weigh myself on is my wii fit and its not exactly right, up to people im a easy going what do people think???.....
personally i think the pushing myself to do jogging on wii fit it did tell me i was going to fast but you know how it is when you get going and yer working on top half although my ankle feels alot better still aches alittle thanks for asking x
i got my depo today no one babies for me... but got weighed at the same time and im 11st 2lbs so ive lost 5lbs in 2 weeks im enjoying this not long to go til i get to my goal weight

Well I walked for at least an hour yesterday with 3 very heavy library books, a 12 month old, a 3 1/2 year old, 2 bags of new spuds, 3 packs of mixed peppers, about 12 bananas, 3 packets of dishwashing tablets and the usual stuff I have to carry about due to kids being kids etc. And BOY was I cream crackered at the end of it. If that didn't burn some calories then I don't know what will!!!
Please note I wasn't carrying said items but pushing them in a double buggy
Not got back into using the Wii at the moment. I confess I am worried about upsetting my back too much as I am pain free at the moment. i was a little bad today as i had a small (honestly it was tiny) piece of birthday as my friends son birthday do today and he said everyone had to have a piece of birthday cake ... didnt enjoy it as it was far to sweet for my liking but i did have a small bottle of diet coke .... i have been wearing my leg weights and walking everywhere today so hoping ive burnt it off ... but thats it for treats for me as i came home craving for fizzy water :rotfl: xStill searching .....:)

Not much to report really - off to London today as my H is going to be in Mens Health magazine in their reader success stories page. He has a photo shoot and wants to have a blowout meal afterwards (as he's been trying to be really good in preperation for this!!). I personally don't view food as good or bad, I have what I want but he's doing things differently to me so I guess if he feels the need for a slap up meal he can have one!
Went to badminton last night but spent most of the session nattering - not very energetic but oh well. Its the only exercise I have routinely stuck to for the best part of 6 months. We just have a knock about really but it's such good fun and a great work out (when we're not gassing)

im shattered today but i will processed got my friend coming from londno and she always drags me round the shops so leg weights on and burn off more calories... going to be along couple of days x

SM - I've had the depo twice before and been fine on it although others have reported weight gain. Have you had it before ? I dont know what we are going to do afterwards as we want another baby in 12 months. It took me 18m after depo to conceive so im not going down that road again
Think I'm just going to weigh in on my own scales so they wont be accurate either , you'll be at your goal weight by the time im ready to start the diet though!! Slow down plzeee! lol
