    Good luck everyone....

I haven't been great on my first day, but will get back on track for the rest of the week, and will try and fit in some exercise too:)

I am having Morrocan chickpea soup and a roll for dinner, it smells lovely cooking away in the kitchen:)

I love them too...dh not a big fan and will eat them now and again for lunch, but the kids won't touch them at all!!

This one is lovely...I got the recipe from the good food website, which is a great site and if you are calorie counting, will even let you search by how many calories is in the meal:)

hii, don't need to lose weight really, was size 8 before baby and am still size 8 now that ds is 2years.

just haven't been able to tone my stomach, very annoying, any tips for exercises to tone this area that avoid going gym??

    much appreciated.

Princess - I have a pilates/fit ball and book which is great for stomachs. You can do sit-ups on it which work you much harder than the traditional type, plus all kinds of other stomach exercises. I like the one where you lie on your back, grip the ball with your thighs and lift it up and down. You can do the same holding it with your hands to work other stomach muscles too.

And the absolute best is the 'plank' - where you hold all of your weight on your hands and toes while trying to still breathe. Bad explanation so the pics here http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://weightlossexercise.files.wordpress.com/2008/02/plank1.jpg&imgrefurl=http://weightlossexercise.wordpress.com/2008/02/12/core-exercises/&usg=__JRkFCjznvHhWKi-hRlBQgSpgn9I=&h=2448&w=3264&sz=3513&hl=en&start=8&sig2=s0EWZSvLcD80ib_s1qaMrQ&tbnid=ti69yBlSLG4_2M:&tbnh=113&tbnw=150&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dplank%26gbv%3D2%26hl%3Den&ei=XgFJSvPsOIHH-AaUjdgq

You can start by being on your knees and keeping a straight back on your forearms or hands. Then graduate to being up on your toes. Be careful not to dip your back though.

Think I got my ball and book from Asda so worth a look?

Good luck everyone. Hope you've had good first days. Can't wait to join you.

oh well, managed to avoid evil shop all day somehow. Unfortunately I also managed to avoid the gym as well - so much for my plan to work through lunch and finish early... Trying to persuade myself to stick on an exercise video now: Pro's; means I can consume a few more calories this evening. Con's; do you know how hot it is!?!
