Calling someone a moron, and goading them to provide more details for the sole purpose of gloating is childish, gratuitous and uncalled for.

The OP is not the first person to buy a car from Carcraft, not read the smallprint, and make a mistake. It happens all the time.

Agreed. The OP might have a bit of a mistake but theres no need for name calling.

Thankyou guys...as you say I didnt come for a slating I just wondered if anyone knew the way to deal with the situation?

Thanks for the helpful replies though...I am aware that we signed a contract without reading it,unfortunatly my husband hasn't had experience with credit and said that he felt pressured and just wanted to get out of there. They told us the paperwork would take 20minutes but kept him there for nearly 3hours trying to sell extra products!

Unfortunately, thats how these people work. Make you feel pressured. Three hours is taking the p**s.

You need to be more assertive with them. Dont worry about being rude to them if they're acting up like this. If they try and sell me extra stuff I just say No thanks politely first time but if they dont listen and keep going I just keep saying 'NO NO NO NO NO' until they shut up.

Went to a timeshare sale thing once in Florida and even this didnt work. I was rude as hell to the people in the end and was laughing in their faces because they were trying to hard with all their crap. In the end, let my 3yr old loose and he began wrecking the showroom. That did the trick ! He even picked up a stone from the potted plant area and hit the saleswoman on the head with it.....

I dont normally let him behave like that but I couldnt stop laughing. After this they showed us out and gave us our free disney tickets (which is all I went for).

Well done Skellet and learn some valuable lessons for next time!

Don't worry about Linus. He likes to ask personal questions about car types and prices. I think he probably has an I-Spy book of cars that he is trying to complete.

Well done to the OP for their result.
Ive come on as i have a similar problem with a car i bought from a renault main dealer which has had several recurring faults and found this and another thread which i though may be useful to read.

It was in that ive rung consumer direct who've been helpful so far and ill ring them again tomorrow.

However, Im not going to bother asking advice here now after seeing some of the childish and rude and pathetic replies from some on here.

Its been a while since i posted or even came on this site and now I see that its sadly deteriorating :-(

I know its the minority but my god, the saying one bad apple really is ringing true :-(
