I hope house hunting goes well tomorrow. How exciting!

The show sounds fab, sure you'll have a great time.

That's such a great deal with the coke and the magazines- I should take advantage of that offer too! :D

Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Hope that the house plots and developers are good and they offer you something that you want. Is really exciting!

The street dance group sounds really fun too.

I am addicted to diet coke so that sounds like a great deal. I really should do that.

    Have a fab weekend.

We didn't get to see the homes yesterday as it turns out the office is not open until next weekend, so we plan to go along then and have a look around. So yesterday spent the day mooching around until it was town to go up town. We went to My Old Dutch before the show, it's a pancake restaurant in Holborn and is sooo nice. OH and I love it there, been quite a few times now. OH MY GOD, the show was brilliant. If your local to London i would recommend you go see Blaze - http://www.sadlerswells.com/show/Blaze - it was one of the best streetdancing shows i have seen. Loved it. Kinda wished i hadn't given up streetdancing a couple of years ago, i really miss it.

I have done the recycling today, and whilst at Sainsburys i popped in for some odds and sods and ended up spending £20, naughty! It's my Tropicana juice addiction and my yoghurts which cost the most. Oh and picked up a couple of grapefruits as started having half for breakfasts each morning.

This afternoon i am going to watch the footie and maybe sort out some bits and bobs.

Payday on Friday, then i need to put the car in for its MOT. This has has been nothing but a money guzzler so it's probably going to be expensive. Once it's had its MOT it's gone. Fed up forking out about £300 a month getting bits fixed, it's eating up my savings. I have decided against my Mini, only because we are selling our current BMW, and hoping to get a 5 series BMW for when we start a family. If we can get £16K for our car, we are looking at spending about £20K so i don't want to spend so much on a Mini, therefore I'm just looking at a 58 plate Toyota Aygo or something very similar.

The show sounds brilliant.I would go if I had any money left. Grrr. The Old Dutch sounds good, might have to go there with OH.

Always the way getting a few bits and spending a lot isn't it!

The car sounds like a bit of a nightmare not surprised you want a new one.

    Hi Hayley,

Shame the offices were shut this weekend, not a long wait until you can next go for a long around though.

Supermarkets always suck me in and make me spend! I could go in for a chocolate bar and come out with clothes, chocolate, magazines, car stuff...

Getting rid of your car for a different one sounds like a plan, it has given you alot of trouble since you've had it.

When you thinking of starting a family Hayley? :D

  • Sorry to hear you couldn't go and see the new development yesterday but at least you will be able to go next week :) So exciting!

Everyone is moving at the moment!

Glad to hear you had a lovely time at the show. It sounds great.

Cars are so expensive aren't they?! I like the Toyota Aygos, they are nice. Good luck with your MOT, hopefully it will pass straight away cus you have spent quite a bit on it recently.

The car is indeed a nightmare, i just hope the Toyota will be good. Looked at reviews and people seem to like it. I hope getting a 58/59 reg one will help as it will still be under warrenty so no forking our silly money to get bits fixed for a while. I'm thinking black or silver, i do like the red one's though but don't think i'm brave enough to go for a red car as i'll soon get sick of the colour.

Definitely not thinking of starting a family this year, maybe next year. I've just turned 26, so thinking if i can get pregnant by the time i'm 27 i'll be happy!

This afternoon i have been watching the footie, man united game and Chelsea game, so all footbaled out now. Also i made chocolate brownies, the last batch is just the in oven, very yummy! But the ingredigents cost £6 so cheaper just to buy them, but great fun making them. OH kept coming over and nicking the chocolate bowl when i wasn't looking. Should've seen his messy face! I've also just made a batch of flapjaks, i stole the idea from pinkhayley, and oh my god, didn't realise how easy and cheap they are to make. My bag of oats cost 44p from tesco, and the other ingredients didn't cost much, easy peasy! Just waiting for brownies to cook then i'll pop them in the oven. Then i must start dinner - spag bol tonight with home made garlic bread!

Also, it's Sunday, so that means 24 is on tonight! woohoo!!!!

  • Your baking sounds fab Hayles! I love chocolate brownies, although I think yours must be super duper luxury ones considering they cost £6!! I bet they will be delicious though. Flapjacks/cereal bars are really cheap and easy. :D I'm addicted, I make a batch every week now. I love baking- makes me feel all domestic goddessy like Nigella hehe.

I love spaghetti bolognaise and garlic bread- one of my favourite dinners. Think I'm going to put that on my meal planner next week!

I really hope you find a decent car. It's no fun at all having one that ends up costing a fortune and driving round in it expecting it to break down all the time:(

The chocolate brownies turned out really well, i made about 20 brownies and have half the ingredients left so can make another batch at the weekend. They taste delicious and i have been taking one to work everyday, it's great getting my chocolate fix and not having to spend money in the vending machine. The flapjacks turned up nicely too, they are soo easy to make and just so cheap, i'll definitely be making them more often.

Last night OH's mum and I went to the cinema to watch Alice in Wonderland, i was pleasantly surprised, i actually enjoyed it. We didn't watch the 3D version as the showing times weren't the best, but the normal version was good enough for us. OH's mum is just the best, she does so much for us, so i paid for the tickets and treats, ended up spending about £20 on the tickets and some treats, was worth it though.

This weekend i'm off shopping with best friend trying to find a wedding outfit for the wedding in Manchester on easter weekend, don't want to spend too much on a dress. We booked the hotel in Mancheter today, £260 for 2 nights and breakfast, just so expensive. Plus we have to pay £15 per night to park the car in their car park, cheeky gits. The wedding is costing us near enough £400 including the petrol to get there. Kinda wishing we said we couldn't make it now, just so much money for one weekend. We're gonna make the most of it though, definitely going to use the spa and sauna facilities and just chill out on the Sunday after the wedding. Their getting married on the top floor of the Hilton over looking the city, so after the reception in the evening we can just stumble back to the room.

Can't believe its nearly 10 pm, where has the time gone tonight. I was on the phone to a friend for about 2 hours so that's probably where lol.
