I have a day off today and i am spending it chilling watching The Hills and Brothers and Sisters :j i got up at 7 am and went to Tesco's to buy the ingredients to make my OH's favourite meal tonight, and i also bought 2 magazines, i would normally say naughty naughty but i got them for free :j Heat and More. I used the two coca cola vouchers i had, i have another two vouchers but saving them for Closer and Grazia next week. I then came back and made a lovely Latte using our coffee machine.

Dropped the car at the garage yesterday morning, not heard back from them yet though so not sure of the damage yet, hopefully i'll hear something later if not, OH is going to call them.

Just looking at ways to make extra money now, i really need to get back into my money making ways!!

My best friend had her 3 month scan yesterday, everybody is having babies at the mo. I know it's going to make me sooo broody but OH and I have a list of things to want to do, and places to see, before we start having children so that's what i'm going to think about. We went to have a look at a couple of new build houses yesterday, they are currently in the process of being built, and we're particarlary interested in this development because its a small development of 12 homes in a very lovely village, normally all developments cram lots of homes in, like this new build apartment we're in now, there's about 200 homes and apartments, which is far too many in a small space. The homes start at £245K and we could probably afford that up to about £280K. We just want our first home to be the home we maybe bring our kids up in if we stay in this country, plus we need a big garden as we'd love a couple of dogs. Home hunting is sooo exciting!!!

Right, time to relax and watch some more TV :):):):)

Wow the houses sound lovely. is great if you can afford one that would be for when you start a family as means you wouldn't have to move again.

Hope you have enjoyedyour day off and watching the Hills.

Back to work I go!! 2 more full days of work then the weekend. YAY!

I cooked my OH shepherds pie with veg, his fav!! Made so much i think he's gonna get seconds for dinner tonight, isn't he lucky!

Yeah that's what we're thinking Wendz, if we can get a family home now in a lovely area we don't have to move again.

Oh spoke to the garage about the car yesterday, it's not the head gasket which they first thought, so that's good, so they are changing the cooling fan and something else which i've forgotten. If that doesn't work i may need a new radiator.

I have so much stuff to go to a bootsale so once it starts getting warmer i am going to do a big bootsale, with all my stuff hopefully i'll make quite a bit.

    xx

Got the car back today, £280, great, but its all fixed, it's got its MOT next week so i'm sure they'll be some more problems to pay for. My lovely OH though as given me half of it as an extra birthday pressies, he's a sweetie.
He also bought some tickets to see Blaze at the peacock theatre next week, it's a street dancing show which we'll both love! He's a sweetie at times, he just saw it being advertised as he want up the tube.

We have friends coming over tonight for a take-away and a very chilled evening of great conversation and laughter, should be nice. OH has just popped to Sainsburys to get the drinks. Vino for me all night, feel like a good drink.

    Tomorrow not sure yet! :-)

Oh no, the weekend is nearly over already? :( Noooo, i don't want to go back to work tomorrow!

Yesterday was spent chilling, doing the usual washing, cleaning, and in the evening we was going to go cinema but nothing really on we wanted to see so didn't want to go just for the sake of it.

Today i was out with my sister, niece and mummy for mothers day. Took her shopping and then for a yummy meal. OH went to his mum's and cooked her dinner. Just waiting for him to get home now too.

So far so good with the car, it's not broken down yet and i've driven it 50 miles. It's MOT is in 3 weeks so fingers crossed they don't come back and say the clutch is gone, even worse the engine, that'll be just my luck. I am on the lookout for a mini though, so if anybody spots a good bargain let me know :)

Today i really wanted to watch the first F1 race, and Man united, but was out so think i will put that on now as we recorded the race and the footie match. Need to watch it before 9 as it's 24 time, the highlight of my Sunday evening, that just makes Sunday evenings bearable.

Next week i plan to not spend more than £10, it's my mission. £10 a week from now until the end of the month when it's payday.

I'm still on the hunt for a wedding outfit for a wedding on Easter weekend, It's in Manchester so we're away for 2 nights staying at the Hilton, so that'll be nice, very expensive though. £350 for the hotel for 2 nights, and then got to add petrol, and food etc. Our friends are from Manchester so they'll going back home to get married.

Right, best get some stuff done before OH gets home

  • Sounds like you have had a lovely mothers day with your family.

Glad you got your car back and it's been ok since. Fingers crossed you'll get it through its MOT and it won't cost you too much. Ooh new Mini, that's really exciting. Do you know how much it will be yet? I always wanted a Mini too. :)

Your weekend in Manchester sounds like it will be lovely. I've never stayed at a Hilton hotel before but imagine it's fab. I bet you'll have a great time.

Hope you enjoy your Sunday evening of 24.

Sounds like you had a nice weekend and Mothers Day.

I could do with a challenge a bit like yours for the next couple of weeks as I have hardly any money left. Good luck with yours!

The wedding sounds nice even though it will cost a lot bet it will be a lovely weekend.

    Friday already!!! :j:j

What a week, it's been a busy one at week so i'm soo happy it Friday!

Tomorrow OH and I are looking at the plot where the new build homes are going to be built, and talking to the developers about what incentives they could offer. The homes have not started to be built yet, hopefully be available by the end of the year. Sooo exciting!!!! Only 12 homes being built, and the village is so lovely, really hope we like the plans tomorrow and are happy with what they could offer.

Then after that we are heading home then off to London for the evening to see Blaze at the Peacock theatre. It's a street dancing act and we saw one just like it just before Christmas at the same theatre and it was amazing! We will get dinner up in town too! :)

Then Sunday it's chilling day watching Man United v Liverpool, a big day!!!

I came home tonight and did all the cleaning so i could have a break at the weekend, and last night i tackled the entire ironing pile, so it should be a good weekend!

I didn't manage the £10 a week because i bought my lunch each day! Naughty naughty me.

I got a free magazine today with one of my diet coke vouchers, they are brilliant, i can enjoy my diet coke fix and also my magazine addiction :T

Not much else happening with me!
