Thanks girls. I'm feeling a little better today, not sneezing as much, and my nose is not running like it was yesterday, so i'm hoping it was a very short cold lol. I am however in bad pain as its that time of the month - not nice.
My OH and I had a little row pathetic before we were meant to go to his mums for dinner so i stayed behind, regretted it after as i hate him having to go to his mums on his own, especially as for the last 5 years we have gone together, was a bit sad he went alone but we needed the time apart. I went to my sisters and we were going to go cinema later but nothing on unfortunately, nothing girly anyway - we do love our chick flicks.
I was starving when i got home so went and got a subway, so that was money wasted there. I am now chilling watching Home Alone 2, i love these films as a kid.
Total spends today - £5.29

Monday morning already, where did the weekend go? Another week of week, boohoo!!
I have signed up for a female kickboxing class which starts tonight, its every monday from 7-8 and only costs £5, so going to give that a go tonight - should be fun hopefully.
I printed off a 20% off voucher for Dorothy Perkins last night, don't know why i did it as I'm trying to stop buying clothes in my lunch hour, but i have just found out a need to bring some outfits when my OH mums and I go up to London on Monday for our makeover. We get our hair done, then pampered and then they take some snaps, they ask you to bring 5 different outfits - don't know what to take so was going to take the easy option and buy some new clothes, but i won't, i will raid my wardrobe instead.

Another non NSD to add to my list  i ended up spending £35.99 yesterday, why is everything just so expensive? I had to buy a few bits for kickboxing in Primark, trainer socks and a few other bits, it came to £9.80, and then some essentials from Boots. I felt so rough yesterday so didn't end up going kickboxing which was a pity, but i will definitely be going on the 28th Sep. So because i didn't go i ended up popping to Sainsburys and spending £18 :mad: if only we didn't need food to live.
One good thing i have just remembered is that i haven't bought a trashy mag for over a month now, i normally buy 2 a week, so cutting this down to ZERO is a big improvement for me :T
Have just been working out a budget for, wait for it...........CHRISTMAS!!!! I know people probably don't want to think about Christmas in September, but before we know it, it will be here. I'll be in Mexico for 2 weeks before xmas so i have to be doubly organised so I'm not panic buying when i get back.
I really do plan to have a NSD today, going into work late so will be no time to pop to the shops :j

Well done on the no magazine buying! I've always spent so much on magazines and am trying to cut down"I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderful."
:rotfl:0 -
Hope you're feeling better.
I'm planning xmas already, haven't bought anything but thinking about what to get people and costs etc.0 -
Hiya fellow Hayley!
Well done on the not buying trashy magazines, you can read all the gossip on the web, much cheaper!
Did you have a NSD yesterday?
Oh and I've been putting a few little things away for Christmas too. I'm never organised for it so this year want to be different!0 -
Hi Hayz,
I nearly signed up to a magazine offer yesterday, 4 More mags for £1, i don't really read More so decided against it. I'm more an OK kinda gal and love looking at what celebs are wearing, just to keep up with the latest trends.
Yesterday was no way a NSD, felt really rough so popped into M&S on the way to work and got myself some lunch, they also do a meal deal for £3, and i also spent money in Tesco on some bits for dins.
Today i might be meting a mate after work for dinner to catch up before she goes travelling, so will defo be another non NSD. Ah well....i may have a NSD before Christmas lol.
I think i'm going to write a Christmas list and get myself super organised, once i have what i'm getting everyone written down on paper i can keep track of myself and make sure i know what's left to get when i get back from holiday. My ickle niece is 3 next year, so i have said to my sister this year we MUST take her to Harrods to see Santa, we both love Christmas and would all love a day up town with all the christmassy lights. My OH and I sometimes go up there at midnight when its Christmas and just look at all the lights driving around, its lovely!
Must go get ready for work, another late start today.

Hi,
I have written a list of people to get presents for. Is always massive as OH has got loads of brothers and sisters to buy for and another niece this year as well!
Harrods would be lovely for your niece, she would love it. I love walking through the christmas bit there, might have to go soon.0 -
I believe you did have a NSD as grocerys for dinner are essential.
Yeah London is lovely at Christmas. I love the time of year. I find it all so romantic. Love snuggling up when it's freeznig cold.Oh I'm going all soppy.
Will definitly go make a day up town with my mum nearer christmas then might also visit with my OH like you too see the lights.0 -
Hey girls,
I have a big family too Wendz, i love having a big family, but means spending so much money at xmas time. I've always been one who loves to give than receive at christmas time.
My niece would love Harrods, last year she didn't really understand Christmas properly, but she's growing up so fast so hopefully this year she will love Christmas. I wasn't here last year to see her open all her gifts as OH and I spent Christmas in America together, so this year is extra special.
I'm exactly the same Hayz, love the cold and just snuggling up and watching films.
Today has been another non NSD - arrggh!! More food shopping, popped to the local farm shop as needed some bits for roasted vegetables tonight, and then i also popped to Sainsburys after work to get some bits and spent £5 and then put £10 in my car.
I love having a car but it feels like i'm forever putting petrol in it, doesn't help with the petrol price rises. At the end of the month i'm going to put in an expenses claim and should get back £100. Been doing a lot of driving to meetings lately and i think i've spent £40 on petrol for that, but because you can claim back 40p a mile i end up making around £50 i think. I know you get more because your using your own car but its great getting more back.
Today spent £18.45
