I am quite lucky there are lots of runs near me.......sky looking ominously dark. Waiting for colleague to pop in and admire my new running gear before I go out...i have proper socks so my feet don't get so hot, proper shorts and a nice pink top! I look good, all the gear, no idea...Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

That is so true Maz, I've just started again after a looooong break and I'm currently still very slow so I'm looking at times and races where there are some walkers and some slower runners are much less intimidating which is good for the charities.:DMortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
