Ugh, hell of a day for me already.
About 11 last night I was in a pub half listening to a conversation where a guy misheard 'Michael Jackson's pegged it' as 'Michael Jackson's pregnant' which was a bit bizarre.
Finally got home at 1.30 - no keys. Searched car and handbag, still no keys. Spent the night on sister's sofa, checked car in daylight at 5, still no keys. At 9 went to community centre where I had a meeting last night, I hadn't lost them there. Went back to the pub (15 miles away), not there either. Went to housing office to report them lost, and was told I could either have them replace the locks for £90 with a payment plan available, or get a private locksmith which'd be cheaper but need payment today. Agreed to them doing it, and mentioned that I'd missed a dose of my tablets and really needed to get in asap, so they put it down as urgent. Got home to a note on door saying my neighbour had the keys. Thank ****! I can't believe I left them in the door! Luckily nothing had gone, possibly because if anyoe came in they'd think the place had been done over already.
So now I'm off to bed, since I didn't sleep last night. And I'm getting a spare set of keys made to keep with someone sensible.
Spice, WELL DONE!
Pooky, belated happy birthday wishes!
I'm sure there were other things to say, but my brain's mush.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
