Unenforceable loans????
Hi was wondering if anyone can help, on a recent website i visited in was advised that there is a chance a loan i had taken out in 2004 could be made void due to the consumer credit act 1974, it says that because the agreement was taken out before 2007 there is a chance there could be breeches in the agreement and that it could possibly be cancelled. I have to send a copy of my agreement which would be checked by this companys legal experts. If they check through and it I have a case i would be charged £285 for a audit and that would be all as when it goes to court the legal expenses will be claimed back from my loan company as they are in breech of contract and my loan cancelled with me not having to pay anymore money (also they would reclaim any PPI that was added without my knowledge) and if there does not look like i will win the case the money refunded and its not costing anything... the loan is for waaaaaaaay more than that so its very tempting, I have spoke to 2 of their with regards to this and have had a few emails and again it all sounds very straight forward but way too good to be true !!! Why would noone else have heard of this .... they also say they can do the same for some credit card agreements from before 2007 .... what does anyone think ???????? Is this possible !!!!!!

Use the search function0 -
Andy,
just to let you know, i had never used this site and was only looking for a bit of advice, i have however been looking through other threads since working out how to use this forum (its the first one i have ever signed up to) and am realising that this may not seem all it cracks up to be ! All i was asking for was a view on it as noone that i know had ever heard of it ! The same way reclaiming bank charges would probably never seemed possible a few years ago!
But thank you for your help anyway ..
maybe your bored when the same things turn up on the forum but some of us are new
please give us time to get used to it0 -
If you click search, then search for '2007, (choose 'search threads' rather than messages) and select the cards and loans forums there are plenty there to read.0

People like this make me so mad.
what kind of morals must somebody have to try and slither out of their obligations.
i really do hope it goes to court, gets chucked out and you end up with a hefty legal bill.
It might sound harsh but its what people are thinking.
you borrow the money, you spent the money, now pay back the money.

Hey snakeeyes yeah!!!!!
People like you make me mad... dont you dare !!!!
Slither out of !!! Get chucked out of court !!! Why are you being such a waste of space ..
get off your high horse
What are you doing a forum that supposed to help people
I would have no problem paying off any debt I have, whats wrong with people like you !!!
Take it you wont be reclaiming bank charges then or PPI etc etc specially when you know you are going over an overdraft or missin a payment .. do you want your money back then ??? When you knew you would need to pay charges anyway ??
Dont even bother replying mate ... find something more interesting to do .. it was a query about something i had never heard of and you feel fit to come and rant and rave
What a pompus fart
Making a show of yourself :T:T:T:T
You have made me laugh anyway
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
youll still be leaving people negative comments in future

Most people that are asking about morals have probably just landed themselves with a loan that theyre stuck with or have more money than sense
Tell me anyone that would honestly pay back a loan they did not need to
At least i was honest
