I par boil the chipped potatoes for about 5 minutes. Place them in the oven tray that's been sprayed with fry light and heated in the oven. Then spray the chips with fry light and bake for about 45-60 minutes on gas 8.

Yum, served with egg beans and quorn bacon

I am sometimes super lazy with SW chips, I just cut potatoes into chips shapes, spread in a single layer on a baking tray sprayed with fry light, and spray the chips too, then bake until they are crispy. 30 mins maybe? They are not quite as good as parboiled but fine if you are in a rush.

Thanks for the recipes Cheekymole, the chocolate cake looks great, am thinking of adding banana to it as well if it was a little dry :-). Would have "Thanked" you, but the buttons have gone!
Misguided maybe, but never really bad!! :A
