Who ate all the "thanks" buttons! ha ha!
Hiya all, welcome newbies and thanks to the others for your help and advice -much appreciated. Thanks too cheekymole for the veggie tips and Morrisons ready meal info. I adore dhall, I'll be getting some! Good tip to get the kids involved in cooking Savvy_Sue luckily mine's at an age when I don't have to provide entertainment anymore! Well done nelly05, for being so supportive of your partner, loopy's right, I was told at SW that it's crucial to eat enough or else you wont lose weight - but not eating enough has never been a problem for me, so I haven't been able to test the theory! Congrats to those who've lost weight (even a little is good, as otherwise if you had'nt been trying, you'd probably have put more on!). Hiya juliet f, when I get cravings for chocolate, I have an options drink - nice and chocolatey. Sometimes it helps, (but not always)!0 -

Welcome lyndsey_22, I didn't know WW did wine, thanks. Do you know where I can buy it? I thought I'd try Lambrusco Light or Lambrini Light - anyone know the values of these (or calories per 100ml, so I can work it out myself)?
Thanks in advance. rm0 -
Ordinary wine is only 4 syns per glass but if you half and half with diet lemonade you can have two for one in effectI haven't got one!0

Hi All, lost 2lb this week (24.5 lb total so far) so am realy pleased, has anyone tried the quorn website? I made the low fat lasagne today it was lovely, well done to everyone who lost weight this week, stick with it those who didnt, easier said than done I know, I went through a phase of "getting no where", but if I had'nt kept going to class I would have put loads back on, (I know, I have done it before!) Hope to hear about all your weight losses next week, marg.0

Well done marg89, you tried Quorn sausages, they're lovely! Thanks for the wine info, diet lemonade's a good idea. I've been good today, for the first time in ???, so I decided to build on this sudden surge of willpower (where did it come from?) by going back to SW. That was this morning, though. By tonight I'd chickened out! (I just couldn't face seeing the members who are still at target weight, who remember me when I was too!)
I've realised that I just can't be trusted to stick to healthy eating unless I attend weigh-ins. So tonight, in a fit of desperation and bravery, I asked my OH to look at the scales as I got weighed!! I warned him first that I had 2 stone to lose and just went for it. Now that that the ordeal is over (and it was), it's free Thursday weigh-ins from now on! (Martin would be proud!)
I also registered with the SW website (thanks for the password and the inspiration) it really helped! I made a lovely veggie chilli for dinner and I'm starting to feel more positive, at last, with your help. Hope it lasts!0
