    Thanks loops.

Honey, I have never discussed my target either although for the last 2 weeks she has said that she thinks I must be reaching my target by now. I just set my own goal and stuck with it. I aimed for the 1/2 stone interims and would be quite happy to stay where I am now but if I can get just under then I have a bit to play with!

My tip would be to chage what you eat on a day to basis so that your body doesn't get used to one thing all the time otherwise the metabolism is affected (sounds like I know what I'm talking about!)
Also someone told me that eating after 7pm isn't a good thing and my biggest weight losses have been when I've stuck to this rule.
Off to salsa tonight to burn a few more calories and I just walk everywhere (apart from when it's raining - well there's no point in straightening my hair for nothing is there?)
Don't go overboard at the gym, get to near your target first is my suggestion.
    I haven't got one!

This boards great, I'll be getting my tissues out in a mo....

Thank you all for your kind words

Just off topic for a minute the ice cream van has just pulled up outside my house which reminded me of something I heard on the radio yesterday. They were talking about cruel lies and one woman said that her parents used to tell her that the ice cream man would only play his tune if he had run out of ice cream - how cruel is that!!!!

:rotfl: :rotfl: My old next door neighbour used to tell DS that - he believed her poor soul until he saw her sneaking past one day scoffing a huge cone! He then said that the music played so that the greedy old lady next door knew it was time to eat all the little kids ice cream :rotfl: Dont ya love kids!

Cheekymole - In all seriousness, would you not consider being a SW consultant??

I'm going to have serious MSE withdrawal symptoms while I am away - reckon I'll have to find an internet cafe and pop on in case I'm missing anything!

Just read what you said about the gym -I won't be going overboard - I haven't been in about 6 months so will be out of breath walking from car to front door of gym! I need to shift my "baby belly" - bear in mind youngest DD is almost 4!!

PS: Totally with you about the hair straightning! I hate rain! Makes me look like Diana Ross :rotfl: :rotfl:

I couldn't dedicate my time to do the consultant thing although I'd make a far better (and slimmer) one than mine. She is ssoooooo patronising! (OMG hope she doesn't read this!!!)
I like to drop everything on a whim and go away especially in the summer when we go camping a lot.
I too will have MSE withdrawal just imagine how many posts we'll need to catch up on!

I've just posted a couple of recipes on OS will do a few more later

If you go to Old Style - there is a Weight watching recipe thread. Hopefully it will be full of recipes soon. I'll have to get my thinking cap on

    Oops cross posted with Cheekymole
Here's the link to the recipe index
