Suewre, that's really spooky. I've just been reading back through Lose Weight 5 and came across a few names that we haven't see for a while. Yours was one of them along with Keren, LoopyLass and others.
Well done on finding your feet wit your job and weight loss - it's brilliant. Are you going to join Lois Lane's 2lb club now that you're back?

Moira, to maintain is great esp. as it's star week just try to avoid those choccie bars I crave at that time - oh to be male (ok maybe not!)

Fill me in on the 2lb club - I suppose I should read through the thread myself and not be lazy!

I guess your psychic ability must have made me turn on the comp and come and talk to you all. Nothing to do with a boring game of football on the telly!

Lois will be along to fill you in but it's a bit like the £2 saver club but we are the 2lb loser club!

Ok - so I bit the bullet, and changed classes, weighing in a day early. I was nervous, we did Mc D's at the weekend. However- I can honestly say despite the heat, I have never walked so much. Loss for the six days 1.5lbs.:j

Some good losses showing so far this week. Not sure what to put as my loss for July - 6lbs I think. If it continues to be this hot, I can't cycle as much as I'd like to!:p

Funny to mention about sex, our "leader" was talking about it in class tonight. (She put is all to shame.)

I have set my sights a bit lower, I am happy to end the month weighing less than I did at the start. But I have a lot more to lose. About 98 lbs in fact.

I do find losing weight a bit scary. My fat has been my 'cover' for so many years (you can't expect too much of me, I am just a big fat lump) so it is hard to think about not having it. I need to get used to it a bit at a time.

Well done for reaching target cheeky.

I prefer to cycle than walk in this heat (friends think I'm mad) as i get where I'm going quicker and get a better tan!

Sex is the best exercise. OH on nights, what a shame!

Suewre, you mustn't think of yourself as a big fat lump - you'll get my boot! (See previous page)
I can understand your thinking but you must look to the future. 1-2lb loss a week is great and is more likely to stay off. There's a girl in my class who's lost 9 stone and looks fantastic.
There are some good stories in August SW mag too, they always give me motivation
So Suewre, new job, new YOU. Join the 2lb club and see how you go, you've done brilliantly so far...

    I wish I was!! :rotfl:
I had set myself a target to lose a stone before I went on holiday in April, which I did. (some has gone back on  ) I still want to lose another stone though.

Suewre - don't be so hard on your self. :grouphug: You are at a great place here. I think and find this forum more motivational than any slimming class. Here, you get real people, real emotions and real advice. Along the lines of something Richard Branson once said - the scariest part of taking 1000 steps, is taking the first one. You've done that already.

Sorry, I'm not the best person at doing all that cuddly stuff, but I hope you don't feel you're doing this alone.:o
