Thanks Lois but I'm lonely down there by myself, come on girls and boys, somebody needs to join me - who'll be first? Now there's a challenge to keep you going

I have a way to go to join you CM but having lost 1 stone 5 and 1/2 lbs I agree that SW is the easiest way I have ever lost weight. It fits in with my social life and my job which involves lots of events and dinners and stays in hotels where it's hard to plan your daily food.

My weigh in is tomorrow and I'm sure I will be a couple of pounds heavier still than before my holidays but the Greeks put olive oil on everything.

Hi all, just as I expected I stayed the same this week but as its my star week thats cool, as I normally put on at least a 1lb.

Lois good luck with your blood tests tomorrow.

Delly Belly - I have been brave and decided that despite not loosing anything this week I am gonna leap into the monthly challenge and go for 8lb (I want to loose 14lb before I go on holiday in 6 week  )

Well done to Julie D, Ems, and Cheekymole on your weight losses. :T

Inspiraton 21 Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding and welcome to teh thread. I can totally empathise re your weight gain and your subsequent lack of self confidence, and I am sure many others can too. However, you have come to the right place for support, advice and help.

Suggs - weigh in when you feel happy if thats every 10 days then cool. As long as its what you are comfortable with thats great. I only do every week as I would have no discipline for fortnightly or monthly lol. I used to weigh myself daily but that is useless so now once a week is good for me. Well done on going to the gym.

Rachie77 - well done on your weight loss - If I was the weight I was when I was 18 I would be so pleased, mind you the chances of me getting back to 8 stone are long gone now :rotfl:

Lydia - well done on staying the same and especially if you know why.

Right off to plan my food for next week. Have a good week all

    Hi Cheekymole and everyone else.

I haven't posted on the lose weight thread since March, when it was lose weight 5. At that point I was looking for a job, and had lost 2 stone 8 1/2 pounds. I stopped posting because I was dithering about my weight. For a few weeks I was 1lb on, 1lb off, stayed the same, then I started working for Manpower. I had two little jobs, then I got offered one day doing admin ( I hadn't worked for 5 years, so had no recent job experience). I am now in my 10th week, and feel there is a distinct possibility that they will take me on permanently, with the added bonus that I have lost more weight (in fact 9lb in the 9 weeks at my current assignment) and am now at a total weight loss of 3 stone 5 1/2 pounds.
