Is there really anything that needs sorting though? I don't know about M&S, but (as previously suggested) most other supermarkets seem to use a generic set of stick on labels, the actual detail of exactly what it applies to is usually written on the shelf label.Back to the original gripe, chap in front of me in the queue last week came a cropper with his "special offer" items so obviously it hasnt been sorted at all.Stompa0 -
MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.0 -
Slightly off topic but I was in M&S a few weeks ago and a woman was complaining loudly to her husband about the 'half-price' cherries - "it says £1.99 but it doesn't say how much they were originally..I wanna know what the original price was.."
The mind boggles! "The happiest of people don't necessarily have the
best of everything; they just make the best
of everything that comes along their way."

I kinda get this...if they were £3-50 to start with then £1-99 isn't half price.....competitionscafe wrote: »Slightly off topic but I was in M&S a few weeks ago and a woman was complaining loudly to her husband about the 'half-price' cherries - "it says £1.99 but it doesn't say how much they were originally..I wanna know what the original price was.."
