how about a tomato salsa? You could use a tin of value chopped toms and just add any other bits you have (bit of chopped onion, pepper, herbs)0

Smoked Mackerel - Cream cheese, smoked mackerel, lemon juice, s+p and parsley if you have it.
Sour cream and chive
Warm cheese and bacon - white sauce, add cheese and bacon0 -
the easiest and cheapest one i know is minted mayo......just add a teaspoon or so to a couple of tablespoons of mayo - and the cheapest jar mint you can find works the best.
I also like philadelphia (or store brand) cream cheese mixed with finely chopped chives and a tablespoon of mayo to 'slacken' it.
or philly with a little crushed garlic, some finely chopped fresh herbs and the tablespoon of mayo.
my version of marie rose sauce is
A couple tablespoons of mayo
a couple tablespoons of salad cream
a tablespoon of tomato ketchup
salt and pepper
dash of worstershire sauce
mixed well and served with either king prawns or crabsticks _ or any other seafood really.0 -
A tub of cream cheese with garlic to taste, 1/2 sachet of onion sauce and milk to thin it a bit.
I used to work in a pub and the landlord put a few nibbles on the bar on Sundays. This always went down well with crackers and celery sticks.0 -
Mayo with curry powder and a little sugar leave for at least an hour in the fridge for the curry to develop.
Mayo with 5 spice.

Yoghurt with various things in to flavour - mint and cucumber, finey chopped onion, tom and some cumin seeds
Salsa - chopped onion, chilli, whizzed tinned or fresh toms, squeeze of lime and lots of corriander
A lovely med style dip for veg sticks is cream cheese and a dollop of pesto
beany dip of tinned kidney beans, chilli, cumin and garlic and lemon juice - like a text mex humous!People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.
