    Good point.

You could look it up online
    - Air Vent satnav mount
    - Sun Visor satnav mount (for the passenger's visor)

I found one, but with mixed reviews, and seems a bit pricy... but up to anyone, really...

There are even commercial Youtube videos explaining and showing how to install the devices.

ok i borrow a sat nav today and it took me literally in the opposite direction!! To me motorways look the same north or south, and I didn't realise that I was actually going back the way I had come after making a wrong turn prior to that (also on the sat nav's advice). So it looks like my sense of direction is just as bad with and without a sat nav ;)
    :D

Yes, them and Garmin. I have downloaded voice alerts from www My satnav now gives a spoken warning as I approach speed cameras and sites frequently used by mobile cameras. This is potentially a great saving in fines and points.

with tom tom and garmin are the speed camera locations a free download? also are these brands of satnavs a monthly fee or one off purchase of the sat nav itself?

You shouldn't need any reminding if you are giving your full attention to your driving.

Speed camera locations are often free from the manufacturer, but generally only give a beep for a camera site. The download I mentioned is a paid one, I think £19 gives access to the site for the year. But you only need the download once if you can do without updates. There are other add-ons available also. Traffic updates seem hardly worth having in UK, they seem to be rare and usually out of date in this area.
